Re: Coal Wash Plant Rare post for me - but even with EDLs torrid history I would have thought events of the last 12 months demonstrate a change in confidence and quite frankly expectation. I have quietly bought in on the various lows to build quite a significant stake here.Whether this equipment is for EDL or not who knows, but the picture does indicate that kit like this can't be whistled over to Tanzania in a jiffy bag.Anyway - we now have an exploration outfit actually selling coal, about to ramp up production and hopefully on the verge of signing at least one key supply contract. In a country where coal imports are currently banned and only 2 other producing coal mines exist (at least one and likely both unable to deliver washed coal)Said company is also well into an MOU period with a major operator to take a power plant proposition to the next stage, with pretty obvious government backing (which of course is the big prize here) in perhaps the most stable and well ordered African country. Said company has a market cap of £6.5 mn, and on this site has managed 4 posts in 2 months (in the dark years we got this number of posts in an hour)Strange world imo, but for me this is a key share for 2017 (and by the way the directors here can only exercise options when the share price hits 5p).Should be attracting more comment at least - JMO

Re: Mining already started then.. Absolutely Barno. Massively underrated here until cashflow is confirmed. Once that comes through, this moves onto a different level. Methinks there are many things to come quite soon, possibly some very nice surprises too as well as the the expected announcements of coal deals, BFS ongoing and partnership news.Amazing how fast it can move when the market decides.

Re: Coal contracts? Isn't it funny how much more sensible the marketplace is than the " SKIES THE LIMIT " clowns. Consequently the share price consolidates until more proof is available.

Re: Coal contracts? Yep it's a real possibility. Playing call my bluff with the government. Maybe EDL will be able to step in, supply him coal and save face for everyone. For sure they will be testing the coal quality and why not negotiate a deal. Seems totally logical captain. Deal announced - we are going to the moon here.

Coal contracts? From what I can read in the media Dangote cement owned by Africa's richest business man has closed his massive cement factory in Tanzania. Apparently the plant used $4m gas each month and local gas supplies were promised. This did not come and they had to import coal from elsewhere in Africa at @ £100 + tonne. The import coal ban in Tanzania now makes this not possible. He wouldn't use Tanzanian coal due to poorer quality. It would be interesting whether he would simply mothball such a cement plant worth apparently $500m. May be EDL see this as a commercial opportunity now coal quality has been proven and supplies cheaper then elsewhere in Africa. The coal ban strengthens EDLs position to supply Dangote. A deal to be struck?
