Re: Sp Yeah, saw this. I thought it was something involving the Natural resources bill that had gone through their (Tanzanian) parliament.

Re: First day with no coal Sorry, I did say "last post", expecting to be insulted and shouted at. But since you've both been so polite I just thought I'd say "thanks".You're both likely right when it comes to African energy and the chance of profit to be had from EDL. I've just decided that, whatever it's short term potential, I don't want to be in coal any more.Good luck with your investments, and nice to see you here in Scarborough, Dev, ))TP

Re: First day with no coal Hi TP - as you know I tend to comment on one share only - although lately I have posted on EDL occasionally. So seeing you on this board is a bit like meeting someone when on holiday.Strangely enough my biggest single investment is currently AEX, but I have never posted about them. I guess the detail of the find there will shape a lot of things including Tanzanian energy policy.Have to agree with Slot though - and Tanzania is desperate for energy sources. The government target for coal production is 5.5 million tonnes per year by 2020, current gross production is 300,000 tonnes from just 2 mines (source - "the East African". I think there is ample room for both over the next decade or two, and the whole region is energy deficient. Just wish FRR would get sorted - and when you think of the gas they are meant to have, let alone the oil!

Re: First day with no coal Wouldn't disagree with you TP, but I think there's a period first where money can be made from EDL. I'll be quite happy to bail out at 4 or 5p if I get the chance.

First day with no coal For UK power, yesterday! The world is starting to clean up its act (despite Trump's crazy election promises, which will never be fulfilled)Do you really want to stay in coal ?It's future is very short term."The Stone Age didn't end because of the a shortage of stone !"Gas is the new coal and will be around for a long time before renewables take over (eventually)There's lots of gas inTanzania. Have a bash at Solo/Aminex, etc.Ok, that's enough from me. Bring on the brickbats, I can take it ))Good luck if you're staying here.TPLast post ! )

Re: Coal Wash Plant Hi Devex. Most of the chat nowadays appears to be on the LSE board. Not only with EDL, but also SOU where I also hold a few.

Coal Crusher The Coal crusher/washer is being shipped from the UK, any ideas on how long this kind of machine takes to install and test? Cheers,C-o-D

Re: Coal Wash Plant Parnaby also have for sale a small 50TPH Coal Wash Separator Plant which is on site in South Africa. This plant would be quicker and easier to transport to Tanzania but most probably is not man enough for the supply of coal required.
