Provident Financial Pretty disappointed that the manager retained a significant holding in Prov Fin in the light of today's news (and 50% SP fall!)The manager should have been in discussion with the Prov Fin BoD and should have foreseen these problems.A big black mark against Mr Barnett and his management team IMO...

Reduced weighting After this week turmoil decided to reduce weighting in these on Friday which combined with dividends since 2011 banked a 72% profit. Sold half so still retain these with a current 3.5% yield but have been upping stake in BIST which I now prefer on market pullbacks which yields 4.7%. Although bought some with 5% dividend recently.GLTA
Re: Director Buys hi percentagegain, I've been impressed with Barnett this year, Edinburgh has done very nicely. I noticed your comment about keystone. To me it looks more or less the same as Edin, give or take 10% invested overseas. Have the two funds tended towards the same holdings in the past?
