Drop in share price With the across-the-board drop in share prices, due to the sentiment regarding China, it is difficult to gauge how Eden's news was received by the market. The company received £0.6m for the license and immediately spent £0.92 on acquiring a stake in Terpene Tech.; i.e. a net outflow of £0.32m and issue of shares. I haven't researched Terpene Tech to see what revenue/profit it has. If this is the single product and is still in the development stage then clearly taking a stake is a punt.I'm not invested here - but was hovering over the 'buy' button when they were demonstrably steady at 17p and expect further update on the take-up of the product in the South Europe countries. It looked as if I had missed the boat - but the drop may yet present me with another opportunity.
13% drop suggests not!
Lice agreement Does anyone know if this is a good deal or not. I suppose the key is as to whether the product works.. Recent press reports comments indicate that existing treatments have lost their potency?
Lots of buying this morning, up 17% Must be something in the pipeline??I can't find any news nor weekend articles.

Re: Reality check. Once Eden receive the royalties from the sales of a single, complete, grape growing season from even just the Southern Europe geographical area this bird will have already flown. it has taken the company an eternity to get where they are today and their patent protection and unique position in the market really is second to none. There is simply no other company out there to rival Eden's unique products and equally as important, farmers will actually improve their bottom line by purchasing and using the eco friendly products. I used to subscribe to Michael Walters tipping site many years ago and this was always one of his hot tips - I can only imagine he must be tickled pink with recent developments. I wonder if he has any longer term projections as to the worth of the company?Personally I don't really see the price rise to 25p as a pump and dump, rather more of an awakening of a sleeping giant to be. Plenty will take profits on the way up but there should be plenty more interest to take their place. It doesn't take much buying or selling to get this share price moving.
Re: Reality check. Actually Royalties have started to flow.Lachlan will be using it and there have been clauses inserted into contracts that the day the Malta rubber stamp was given then payments will be triggered. What we've seen over the last few days was a bit of pump and dump, but those that find themselves in a negative situation should not fret. It'll be ok.Do some research and (in my opinion) you'll find that this is a cracking investment.I'm personally a long term holder and I'm happy to be so.
Re: Reality check. If by that you mean until meaningful revenues actually start to flow I would strongly disagree. IMO by the time the meaningful revenues start to flow on this little puppy the price will be well over thirty pence with the prospects being absolutely mouth watering. Even if you only considered one crop in Europe, grapes, and the amount of farmers who will use one of Edens many products for this crop and considered the royalties this is likely to harness, it is truly mind blowing. Of course, Eden is not going to be limited to Europe and neither limited to one crop. This share will eventually reach for the stars and is currently taking a healthy breather.
Reality check. Back to sensible level until results start to flow.
Taking a breather Well it has happened, the sp has finally taken a breather which is probably a good thing as I needed to catch my breath too. I believe this reversal will only be temporary before we go again. If you believe in the massive potential of this company then we should be looking at multiples of the current price given reasonable time. My only fear is that it will be taken out by one of the big boys well before then. I'm held for a long time and have just about broken even now but will not selling a single share.Good luck all.
Re: At Last!! From what I can see on the charts, the IPO was 20p so with this finish well above we're moving into a new phase and yes eventually there will be a retracement to show us a new support level, at the moment I'm enjoying the ride upwards.
Re: At Last!! Looks like the pump and dump brigade have yet to latch onto this one - just great steady rises for all us loyal investors!!
Re: At Last!! i meant 11.5p.....i am amazed with from 8p a few weeks ago hardly anyone has commented on this stunning rise nearly as good as AFC...very strange.
