broker report A 31 page report and concise summary by Michael Walters on his site.....all encouraging stuff. Might explain the small rise in the SP today
WH Ireland Not a group that I particularly trust, but the Telegraph article says:" WH Ireland have said it could add around £1m in pre-tax profits to its 2016 financial results."That's about 5% of Market Cap for, potentially, one very small part of their portfolio.Don't know how they calculated it but it would be interesting to know the breakdown between Milestone Payments and Royalties.Looks good whatever.Speculator
Re: First commercial scale order for 3AE... 1,667 hectares = approx 6.5 sq miles, so a significant order, but small in comparison to the size of the potential market. Interesting.
Re: First commercial scale order for 3AEY Let's hope it is the start of great things to come. What we need is a regular stream of updates which serve to sustain any rise in share price. Derrick
First commercial scale order for 3AEY Highlights from the RNSSean Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Eden, said: "The approval in Kenya, the order from Lachlan, and the subsequent sales of 3AEY are all key milestones which represent Eden's progression from being an IP development company to a commercial operation. We expect that growers, retailers and consumers will all appreciate and benefit from the safety and efficacy of our naturally-derived plant protection products. We eagerly anticipate the arrival of the first produce treated with 3AEY in the UK and the rest of Europe as an exciting milestone for Eden and our shareholders. "This is the first commercial order for 3AEY which will generate product sales revenue and royalties. We expect this to be the first of many such orders not only from Kenya, but also from our other partners in Europe in due course." Richard Stone-Wigg, Chief Executive Officer of Lachlan, said: "Lachlan has been working with 3AEY for a number of years and we have been very impressed with its safety profile and efficacy. Marketing trials with customers have confirmed this, and we are pleased to now be in a position to get this product into a market which is demanding zero pesticide residues, especially on exported fresh produce to Europe."Bootiful!!3D
One day rodders [link] decent management behind us we would be flying by now, lets hope they pull their fingers out and start to either pay a divi or get their act together to make value for their shareholders.3D
Re: Bad choice of broker/advisor Agree. Fortunately, I'm one of the lucky ones...having been in for 5+ years, I sold out (20k shares) in August at 20p showing a small profit. About to buy back, but will now wait a while on this news. Michael Walters has written many a good note on this company which seems to have good products but awful management. Hopefully he will pen another soon. With an effective management this company would be 'flying'
Bad choice of broker/advisor why on earth have Eden chosen SCAP as their broker/advisor? I couldn't think of a worse broker to choose!!Watch out for the heavy buying/selling before news as this lot are worse than a leaking tap.Not happy with this news and I expect SCAP to run this share into the ground short term, this explains the drop in SP recently as they have more than likely been forward selling the book.8% down today shows how the news has been received.Well done Eden, you do a cracking job with your product then give yourselves to the wolves.Three cheers to Eden, not.3D
Eden mentioned again [link] a LTH I am actually welcoming the price drop as it is as good as time as any to buy more, in fact, I hope they take it back to 7p as I will throw the kitchen sink at it then!!We sure are in a great place at a great time, what with the ever increasing chemical pesticides awareness going on in the background. I almost feel if we stay on track that maybe one day Rodders we will all be millionaires 3D (waiting patiently for Eden to become a $B Company)
Price slump After good news, why so disappointing?
Another good read [link] futures getting brighter, the future in natural pesticides is Eden.....................3D (ignoring the intra week SP movements as they will be irrelevant one day soon)
Re: Drop in share price does this apply to us countryfile on now 7 til 8 bbc1
Re: Drop in share price Yes, we're all waiting for those subsequent announcements on product approval following the Malta decision. In theory, each country has 120 days (but i'll believe that when it happens). However, that said, approval from Greece was announced yesterday.Speculator
Re: Drop in share price Hi SpeculatorI know I was taking a simplistic view that £600k received and £0.9m spent represented an outflow of £0.3m - with the former being cash and the latter shares. I wasn't meaning to imply an outflow from the cash balance. Thanks for the insights into what Terpene Tech are already doing.Once the share prices stabilises, I may well take a punt. Am I correct in expecting further announcements relating to clearance for use in the south European countries - hopefully followed quickly by deals relating to those markets?I look forward to the day when the businesses using Eden products opt to take a stake in us.
Re: Drop in share price Just to clarify. There is no net outflow of funds.£600k was received and the £0.92m was paid through the issue of new shares representing a dilution of around 3% I think. The £600k relates to a single product, i.e. for use on head lice. However, TerpeneTech are already marketing odour control products for use with petsThey also hold rights to develop other products using Eden's technology.Speculator
