Re: Suspension. Hi, R94, dont label me as experienced, LoL, Im feeling my way in the dark like everyone else! But, seriously, ECHO is potentially (underlined) a high riser. But not until after the fundraiser is complete. Drops like this are not unusual after fundraising. The record date I sent to be announced but is unlikely to be set at a date before the announcement. Should be safe to buy now and some would say forget the offer price, buy now whilst the sp is below it but remember the cash raised in the offer goes straight into the war chest but if you buy now its just some lillylivered, Christmas shopper who gets the benefit.Happy Christmas TP
Re: Suspension. Thanks for joining me here prior. Are you topping up ? Do you know record date for OO .What do you think the lowest buy this morning was. Not sure all the ones below 15.50p could be sells shown as buys but not as experienced as yourself.
Re: Suspension. And, remember, the same happened with SOU, and look where that went after the raise.TP
Re: Suspension. Maybe the 14.28 was a sell? I dont think the market has yet realised that these extra funds are paying for the expansion of the company! If you have one widget worth £1m and raise £1m to buy a second widget, the company is now twice as big and worth twice as much.Echo remains a sound investment, backed by an experienced and progressive team.Bolivia, Argentina, ........ keep on growing, increasing potential returns. Happy Christmas ))
Re: Suspension. Surprised I'm the only one posting here this morning after the swings since yesterdays "surprise " RNS's.Set a buy limit yesterday evening ( i would never usually do that ) Thought it was a cheeky 15.50p .. but it lifted @ 8.21amNot sure why it did not lift earlier as trade history shows buys at 14.28 ( low ) and plenty more before rising to my buy. No doubt ill be informed all of those were "over the counter" and this particular broker does not do that. Not sure that sounds right for a fair market ?
Re: Suspension. Well done Gandhi's flipflops.. the city rumors were correct. The positive early response turned against echo as day went on closing down 11%sells towards close @ 15.5p buys for 15.69p.
Re: Apparent whispers in the City Spot on mate!!
Re: SP Everyone was desperate for the shares to trade again. I have to admit, I wasn't as optimistic. I was pretty sure they would decline and unfortunately I was right. Much better to freeze the shares for 2 years until we have found the gas, and then resume lol. Obviously, that isn't allowed, but I'd prefer it.
SP Looks like the shares might be cheaper in the market than the 17.5p in the offer. The company do keep coming back for money though.

Re: Suspension. Back trading today.RNS... Fund raise @ 17.5p....... 6.4m.. Open offer in January at same price. Response this morning up 2% @ 18p

Re: Echo Energy agrees extension Apologies OwDo. I see youve already partially covered Malcys view of the triple presentation under this thread. Looking forward to building my CORO holding when they list. And a few more ECHO too.TP
Re: Triple presentation Malcy seemed to enjoy the triple presentation. Lots of promise and potential on all three fronts, and lots of news to come.TP
Re: Echo Energy agrees extension Can anyone explain why the focus is on EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation? Now while depreciation and amortisation, being non-cash items, might seem irrelevant, interest and tax are key numbers as what belongs to shareholders is after these deductions. In companies such as this one that are highly indebted, interest is a key number. Forget EBITDA as it is an irrelevant figure.
