Director buying 25000 purchased. Maybe that discount is proving tempting.

Re: Drop Potential crisis in Italy and unlikely denomination change. There seems to be a growing disinterest in European assets as the expected growth, building on last year spurt, appears to have fizzled out.I recently added a little more at the recent low. A very small amount via trade credits I’d accumulated.I’m not rushing to add more, but have made myself a note to check early August when I expect they’ll be going ex-div.It’s not that far away really. Re: Drop I think it's just the general malaise caused by the Italian situation. The TR Euro small cap IT is also down significantly, although its NAV seems little changed. Continue to hold both and will start to drip in monthly to EAT should it fall further.

Drop There's no obvious reason that I can see for the c.13% drop since the split of shares?! It's rare that this share sits at a 7% discount to NAV. Any thoughts?

Re: Share consolidation? Hi Pie eaterI guess none of them are perfect. I have had no issues and they are cheap. The customer service people seem fine too.

Re: Share consolidation? Halifax are generally pretty good at the routine stuff...collecting divis, corporate actions, regular investments etcBUTThey sometimes claim a fund is available and it isn't.The research function is still atrociously disjointed.....amongstthe worst I have come across at times with links to KIDs being blind yet acknowledgement of reading the KID being required (it is available half way through the order stage as a pdf)Opening an ISA account MAY prove problematical - my wife's didn't go through and then there were suddenly 2 !

Re: Share consolidation? Thanks. I just checked my SIPP held with HL and that was handled correctly as well.Just Barclays (not so) Smart Investor then...I just talked to them and they are going to escalate the investigation. Not bad three weeks after I first pointed out their error...

Re: Share consolidation? Hi DonI have same EAT shares in Halifax Share Dealing. They handled the thing correctly and are generally quite efficient. Not the most expensive platform expecially if you mainly buy and hold without too many trades.

Re: Share consolidation? hanoiboy - I am in an ongoing debate with Barclays, culminating yesterday with them claiming that the number of shares credited was correct! Hence yesterday's post to verify that I wasn't going completely mad.I have an incident number with them and I will call this afternoon to pursue the matter.I am also looking at other ISA providers, as since the switch from Barclays Stockbrokers to Barclays Smart Investor the service has been nothing short of appalling.Regards,

Re: Share consolidation? Barclays have got it completely wrong. The divi was paid on 30th April at which point, new shares (either bought or acquired via scrip) were due. The split took place after close of business on 2nd May at which point, any new shares and existing holding should have been subject to the 10:1 split.Barclays credited me with the incorrect amount and I am awaiting a response to a secure message. If I don't get anything soon, then I will write toSpecialist Complaints P.O. Eurozone manufacturing falls to 15 month low Eurozone manufacturing falls to 15 month lowEurozone factory growth was subdued in May, falling to a 15 month low, and the weakness looks set to continue. The IHS Markit final manufacturing purchasing managers index came in at 55.5, in line with an initial estimate but below the April figure of 56.2. Chris Williamson, chief business economist at Markit, said: Some of the weakness may have been related to a higher than usual number of holidays during the month, but risks appear tilted towards growth remaining subdued or even cooling further in the coming months. There are signs the soft patch has further to run. Despite the production trend slowing markedly in recent months, the order book slowdown has been even sharper.Although growth is slowing, it may still be strong enough for the European Central Bank to press on with its plans to reduce its economic stimulus programme, due to finish by the end of 2018.

Re: Share consolidation? Hi, I invest directly with F&C. My account shows reinvestment of dividends on 1.5.18, purchased at the pre-split price. On 3.5.18 the holding was multiplied by 10, giving the correct updated total. I am currently investing more with a view to taking dividends in the long term; they now seem to be trading on a discount to NAV and hopefully current problems (Italy etc) will not significantly affect the yield!

Re: Share consolidation? Hi all,Can someone please assure me that I am not going mad? Barclays have been in touch regarding my dividend re-investment and are claiming that the additional shares they have paid is correct (please see my original post on 08/05).Surely EAT would not have paid a dividend before the consolidation, but then not allowed the dividend shares to be consolidated!?If anyone has dividend re-investment enabled on this IT could you please let me know whether it went smoothly. If Barclays are trying to justify only paying me effectively 10% of the dividend then it is the end of the road for me with them. Many thanks in advance,
