Re: how wrong maybe got the contract to print the drachma
how wrong all the sell mongers have been so wrong, so glad I kept these.
Re: Results Another bright spot------- take-over target? Germans interested?
Re: Results An advantage so formidable that the BOE contract to supply polymer went to Innovia.
How about the Dividend declaration ? Is that good, ok, or below par ?What does it signal about confidence ?SAGE
Results Results just published are worrying on a number of grounds.Turnover was down in all divisions, that hasn't happened before. The target of £100m profit per year is further away than ever, and moving in the wrong direction. This is, I think, the 4th time we have been promised improvements based on operational efficiencies - you can only take water from that well up to a point, and we may have past that point. The only bright spot I could detect was the potential increase in polymer substrate over paper, where DLR does have an advantage whereas appear is made by many competitors.Overall, not great. New management has a lot to do.
Murdo23 take the money and run.........
well looks like another daily mail (fail) Dont think you can ever believe anything you read in that rag
good news for the bidders, if they can get something for 750 that they were prepared to pay 960 for, thats deflation for you.... at these levels they could even try 700?
Re: rise DLR turned down a bid of around 960p from Oberthur a while back. Would be a tragedy if they succeed at 750p. I know that's a good premium on the post profit warning SP, but hardly values the company very highly. They'd be getting a real bargain IMHO. Better for us suffering long term holders if the SP is driven back up on the rumors and the company's performance returns to its previous track. Profits around £100m should still attainable.
Re: rise im currently sitting on negative fortunes here - be nice to claw some back.....
Re: rise Just answered my own question.......Rumours that the firm could be subject toa 750 pence bid from Oberthur or a private equity group.
rise I can find no reason for the rise in the last couple of days.Does anyone know?
Printing With the requirement of paper money wanted in Europe surely De LA Rue can get a slice off this.
Greek election All eyes on Greece next Sunday. Could push nearer to Grexit - with possibility of a subsequent return to the drachma. Wouldn't that be good news for DLR...
