Mkt Cap.... So what do you think a fair share price should be..... bearing in mind start up costs from new i.e. design of packaging,product,licencing and getting bottles on the shelves etc etc from scratch and for 5 different drinks,I think a SP of 3p minimum and 5p for further growth especially if USA market is successful.10p equates to £50m...? a bit much now but still not so much when you think of costs as mentioned above.

Re: Enjoy...!!! I wonder if Distil market the products at events and shows such as Good Food Guide. I went to the NEC last year and there were plenty of companies marketing Gin and Vodka. Very popular stores, and I sampled quite a few. A marketing campaign would work wonders for sales and get exposure.

Re: Well..... I read the posts on LSE today, and foolishly decided to wait until after I bought a bottle of Redleg. £15 from my local Morrisons, and its lovely. On arriving home I found the price had risen again. Might wait to see if there is a retrace before I punt a £1k investment in Distil. Oh, the Redleg is lovely, second glass going down very well.

Sounds good to me and that's without sales to USA.IF and I know its a big IF as U.S. tastes are different to Europe etc,then hopefully we maybe able to increase sales again in the future.Will let share price settle and then top up,Madoff jnrPS Am I the only investor in Distil....?

results....... Had a premonition today at work that Distil's results/news would be in today....... disappointed in s/p movement down but not with results and general direction company is taking.One to tuck away and forget about.Madoff JnrPS actually worth a top up when s/p has stabilized IMHO of course

As such, the microcap purveyor of high-end spiced rum, vodka and gin looks interesting at 1.12p. Encouragingly for the £5.62 million cap, another major UK supermarket has listed (11 Aug) its high-growth RedLeg Spiced Rum brand, named after the RedLeg Hermit Crab native to the Caribbean and famed for its bright legs, for its stores. This builds on deals with ‘two major UK grocery chains’ inked last year for Distil’s prominent brand, whose popularity with retailers, bars, restaurants and pubs is on the up. Guided by executive chairman Don Goulding, Distil’s business has been simplified to focus solely on the sale of owned brands with global potential. Increased investment behind these brands drove sales up from £666,000 to £1.17 million in the year to March, while operating losses were reduced by 66% to £97,000. Blavod Black Vodka’s reintroduction to the USA, where it had been absent for several years, has proved successful, while RedLeg’s approval for sale (23 May) in the vast US market augurs well.

redleg Really thought we would have got clearance for Redleg by now......like how long does it take....?Its not sold in my local Tesco or Sainsbury's.....must be just very large stores...?Fingers crosse

Red Leg Spiced Rum 70 cl Decided I better take my investment in Distil and do some research. So with that in mind I bought a bottle of Red Leg Spiced Rum 70 cl. Currently on special on Amazon and in Sainburys. £22 down to £15. All 43 purchases on Amazon rate it as at least 4 star.

Gin sales up Nice trading update today. BBC item from yesterday stating Scottish gin sales growth surge. Lets hope this is the start of a share price surge here are well.[link]
