Re: Hmmm it seems to be bouncing, holding fo... Well I was hoping for a recovery this morning but its gone the opposite way. Fair comments Chip, I certainly won't think about averaging down unless it goes below 700p.

Re: AGM Trading Update I think there are several problems with this statement. From net cash of 0.6m on 31/12/14 we now have net debt of £8.9m.From very positive statements in the final results we now have apparently got problems with production, 'operating profits' are going to meet expectations, but does that mean the net profit is going to be hit by restructuring factories etc? This to me smells of a new management team finding things they weren't expecting, which considering the finance director, at least, has been in place since September is worrying. I don't often post Sells, but I am out of here, with a view to buying back in once the dust has settled. On previous experience this should give the SP a bit of a boost. DYOR -- and post the results on here!

Re: AGM Trading Update Bit of a mixed bag really.Lighting revenue growth better than expected - goodExpectations for year unchanged - neutralOp. profits more weighted to H2 - neutral tending a bit towards negativeProcesses need more focus and attention - probably negative short term, but should pay off longer termThe city plainly wasn't impressed.

AGM Trading Update AGM Trading UpdateRNS 15 April 2015Dialight plc (LSE: DIA.L), the UK-based market leader in LED lighting, today publishes the following trading update for the three months to 31 March 2015 in advance of its Annual General Meeting, to be held later today.Demand for our market-leading products within the Lighting segment remained strong and Group revenue growth for the quarter exceeded management expectations. The initial assessment from the business review conducted by the Group's recently-appointed Interim Group Chief Executive and Group Finance Director, in conjunction with our management teams in the UK and US, is that the development of Dialight's production infrastructure and processes will need more focus and attention to keep pace with the Group's rapid growth in sales. The Board will be reviewing a range of actions to improve the operational performance of the business in the second half and beyond.Group net debt at the end of the period was £8.9m.We remain encouraged by the strong demand for LED lighting. Although the Group's operating profits will be weighted more towards the second half of 2015 than in previous years, the Board's expectations for the full year remain unchanged.

Philip sale The multiple paid by Go Scale would value Dialight at about 1152p. If you deduct a 20% premium for a size premium, that still has Dialight at a 20% discount and it has the attraction of a "pure play" LED business:[link]
