Does anyone know the correct address to send the acceptance form to? I seem to have misplaced the return envelope (if there was one!). Thanks

Re: Money Yes.....ENOC
Money Has anyone been paid yet?
ENOC`s loss Just for inforagon was the one company out of the original 17 companies that WAS NOT approved for licenses in Uganda.[link]
Re: Capital gains Thanks for the responses ref capital gains.I finally managed to speak to AG from Investor relations and she very smugly informed me they have not and will not put anything in place to help people in a potential capital gains situation. The person who answered the phone at DGO's office first word was ENOC, I thought I had dialled the wrong number and wanted to throw the phone down!!
Re: Capital gains Stoater. One of the little bets I have going with friends is to see how long, after five years of waiting, the Caspian Driller gets put into operation AFTER the deal completes. Will it be the very next day I wonder?ENOC have already changed their wording regarding the 100,000bopd production from it being "maintained at an average of100,000bopd for the next five years" to it now becoming a "minimum average of 100,000bopd". The two are very different and now allows ENOC to increase the production far in excess of that.People may be pleased with an extra 50p but be under no illusions that investors have been shafted good and proper. There is nothing that can be done about it because we were sold down the river by the bigger players but there will be some smug faces in the ENOC camp as production is ramped up along with Dragons international expansion.
Re: Capital gains Have to agree with Stoater - doubt I will ever get involved with something like Dragon again. Its been quite a ride. Thanks to everyone that has contributed over the years and good luck.Last one, please turn out the lights.
Re: Capital gains well only you know the potential cost of your CGT. how does that compare with the cost of a 'quickie marriage'?..also a quick marriage would be cheaper than a planned affair because (if you are lucky) many folk would not be able to attend!!
Re: Trades Some of the trades are showing as buys at 800p.What is the point of that as it is a done deal or am I missing something? ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- -----As I previously stated, its the bucket shops (spreadbet companies such as IG Index) buying back client positions they were going against in their B Book, as they thought the bid would fail and the SP would be 500p again.Such a shame it didn't NOT 3D (loves taking money from the bucket shops)[link]
Re: Capital gains Thanks for response chaps, fortunately I have half my holding in my ISA, so that has limited the damage. No wife...just a bidie-in....maybe I should marry her before the end of the month! And I have already used up all of my capital losses to offset against my gains just over 2 years ago when I sold a large chunk of DGO to purchased the house. This has turned out to be the best share I ever bought, I enjoyed it more in the good old days when we we just moved into the Caspian after giving up on China. When we first started doing workovers on the old wells and then drilling the first couple of new wells . We could see the production begining to rise after each and every well. This was a thriving wee BB with lots of good information being shared, both myself and Downes (and a few others) were prolific posters way back then. A few years later Fydo appeared on iii and really upped the anti with lots of great research. What a shame ENOC were so greedy, this pie was big enough to feed everyone for a long time.I still cannot believe we have not got the gas compression up and running yet, that was a real disappointment! (I wonder how fast it will all come together now?)I don't think I will find another share like DGO!Good luck to all of the old dragons out there, past and present, its been fun!x ;o)
Re: Capital gains check out QUICKLY how long it takes to transfer part of your holding to the wife??if you dont ask...
Re: Capital gains I had a similar situation a few years back and the premium paid compared to market rates were wiped out by the tax. Doubt if theres much you can do as taper relief and suchlike were got rid of some years back.If you are holding other assets that are showing a loss might be worth realising those in the same tax year to reduce overall capital gain. Im no expert in this but could be worth investigating. If youre ever in this fortunate position again its worth considering realising assets up to your capital gain limit each tax year, then buy back in the next if you want to continue to hold. Its called bed and breakfasting, again this was made a little more difficult a while back in that there has to be a 30 day gap between selling and re-purchasing.Im an engineer not a financial expert so please regard the above as food for thought and nothing else.
Re: Capital gains Glad I moved mine to an ISA years ago - seems like a lifetime!
Capital gains I have been very fortunate with my many purchases of DGO over the years, but I am sad to see the way this one has ended. I have been here since the 1p days pre consolodation. I cannot complain about the difference DGO has made to my life, it has paid for my car and part funded a house purchase. The shares I still own were going to help fund my retirement as I hoped to sell down over a period of years. Instead of that I am now left looking a capital gains bill if DGO are going pay out everything in one tax year.I have been trying to contact investor relations with no success to ask if there is anything they can do to help people in this situation. Has anyone else any information in this respect, I seem to have a distant memory many years ago during a takeover of another company, there was an option to delay payment to help avoid capital gains.I'm not holding much hope but I need to ask the question.
