Re: share tips for 2016.TI I understand, though their - I believe sister - paper Small Compan Sharewatch doesnt seem to mind, As the old saying goes, all advertising is goood advertising and if the tips do well then I am more likely to sign up.
Re: Prudential sale I dont doubt your arithmetic skills, but arent some of these share holding statements merely a restatement in % terms of the hgher number of shares. ou may well have done the figues, kin which case how many have gthey sold to get down to below 5% (accepting they could have sold more). In the meantime, I still think that they are at least a weak buy in advance of what I believe will be a crop of new orders for themselves and via gtheir new acquisition.Juts a thought.
Prudential sale having been part of the placement at 37p the Pru has taken some of it off the table-so say they sold at an average of 49p then they are out with a quick profit of 29%-easy money for the institutions while us individuals with a long term interest in the success of the company can't share the benefits! Poor.
Re: share tips for 2016.TI sorry Claude I am unable to do that as the company has copyright over all this and while they might not object to a snippit they may well chase a complete exposure! giving people a snippit it might tempt people to subscribe. TI has an excellent track record and I would recommend it. Best Wishes
Re: share tips for 2016.TI PS Geriatric, we dont seem to have many followers on this BB despite the NAP in SCSW lasat year, and the reassuring comments re this share in the prologue to SCSW's 2016 NAPs over last weekend.
Re: share tips for 2016.TI Yes. Looking good, in the unfortunate terrorist threat climate we find ourselves in. Would be interested to see the Techinvest tips if you have them?
Re: share tips for 2016.TI In the Techinvest 12 naps for2016. Interestingly here are his buys07/05/14 bt 20k @96.527/11/14 bt 20k @4816/11/15 bt 20k @4817/12/15 bt 22k @41.25Average works out at 52.7p/ per share. He does not buy this number of tranches normally and he has an excellent trak record. I find that re-assuring and hope it proves to be the case. Interestingly there is no change in the SP today unlike on most of his other recs for 2016. Now we just wait for news of contracts.
share tips for 2016 this is recommended by Shares magazine. In the SCSW naps for 2015 it was recommended and in his review of the year states " the market was unforgiving towards lossmaking firms" In time it will be an incredible company. Let's hope so. Now we await the Techinvest comments and naps for 2016.
spread with the spread at 52-53 this is the tightest spread I have seen on this stock since I started following it. . It has been 47-50 and even 47-51 so it is beginning to generate some significant turnover and with only 17% on free float any positive statements will have an impact.
creeping back now moving in a positive direction again. Let's hope we get some more contract news again soon -either from our new US acquisition or from our own existing company. With 2000 armed police on the streets of London on the NY. How many of them had access to the Thruvision technology which can detect a suicide vest or arms carrier at a distance?
Re: SP rise and fall! Poor interims as a result of UK austerity but the key is what happened since then. As the Ch says "stronger contracted backlog position" of £16.9m and cash £5.9m. Plus the placement at 35p and the 87% institutional holders benefit from that. I have to buy more at 42p. No point in panic or anger-deal with it-I have and will buy more on Monday at 42p I hope. In my view-paranoid or not-this company is in the right place at the right time with the right products and they must have been very impressed with what the US company has to offer to buy and integrate it. Time will tell
SP rise this is rising on small volumes. 87% is held by institutions so the availability clearly limited which will impact on SP-hopefully in a positive manner
DT and contract RNS article in DT today on ThruVision which is a camera pointed at an individual and can identify the "hot spots" of guns; explosive vests etc on an approaching individual. Just sold some in AP area plus more ISP modules to give camera images to exposed areas. Also said they will achieve break even in 2nd half. In light of Paris events I anticipate more of the ThruVision technology will now be utilised in Europe. Identifies bomber and protects the scrutineer. And the rest of us!
SCSW summarises recent contracts with the comment that it is all shaping up well and is a strong hold. They recommended it at 37p-now 48p. Techmarketviews have said that breakeven is even closer.
Re: progress!. the key statement for me in the RNS today is " we have a firmly proven and highly differenciated technology" That message seems to be getting through based on the recent contract announcements-and we need more of them to get to breakeven and profitability
