Re: 20% of shares traded It matched their holding.Third Point bought the Playa Grande development last year from Dolphin, and as a major shareholder in Dolphin I would suggest they had a good knowledge of the assets.
Re: 20% of shares traded Hi T - how did you know it is Third Point and why do you think they would have particular insight into the true NAV?thanks
Re: 20% of shares traded Third Point were the seller, and I think they would have had a good insight to the real value of DCI. It worries me that they have sold. Let's hope that the buyer knows wehat they are doing.
20% of shares traded so I have been nibbling here for a few weeks and delighted to see 180m shares traded today.they are at a huge discount to NAV but of course there are huge risks and operating losses.I cant see that there is a seller offloading 20% without having to take a big price cut,so I can only conclude it is a knowing buyer picking up 20%.shareholder news expected in the next couple of days, and I think that will spark some interest in the shares and a firm base under the price.they could be decent upside but its not that liquid and there is downside risk too!All IMHO, DYOR + BoLDCI is in my portfolio
Re: Interims The interims were released on 24th September.
Interims [link] NAV per share as at 30 June 2015 stood at54p before DITL and 47p after DITL,Cash at 30 June 2015 was 74.8 million(31 December 2014: 30.9 million), of which19.3 million was cash restricted at project levelfor certain developments (31 December 2014:23.9 million).
More dilution I sense potential, but maybe not for the small guy. I emailed DCI about participating in Convertible issue some while ago, no go. Be the same here. Plus ~60% of assets could get devalued by half if Greece goes, although building costs should decrease commensurately and cheap prices mean more buyers.I don't hold. Am watching Greece! Good that a profit was generated.
Excellent news Representatives of the major investors replace the board to shake the tree and narrow the discount to NAV. I see very little downside in this stock.
