Re: Ex Minco Buchans DRS advice note arrived in the post today from Canada.
Re: Ex Minco My DALR shares are on LSE at about 92p using TD-direct (which is III 0wned now) but I see nothing about Buchans shares as yet in my account. I anticipate that Buchans will be listed in Canada TSX, which is tradable with TD. An AIM-listing of Buchans would be an unexpected bonus, provided my allocation of shares was on AIM.
Re: Ex Minco in same boat as you.I note that we seem to have Canadian shares though as opposed to UK AIM shares. Are you in agreement with this? Can UK broker sell and how? Must I send the DRS to broker for them to do it?
Great Company Fantastic company and such good prospects for it's N Ireland project.
Ex Minco TD have my shares listed today 31st which is rather good. I feel this is a better bet long term than Minco. I need the Buchans shares though to give me a profit on this takeover but almost there with Dalr alone so not at all bad! Anyone else out there to tell me that I have arrived on the right BB?
They could do without this! Police have billed Canadian firm Dalradian almost £400,000 for escorting explosives, but the sum remains unpaid. The company argues that no other mining or quarrying operation in Northern Ireland pays for that service. So now the Lawyers have got involved!![link]
Re: Tick Tock You're welcome Silveroil. I just have one more for now thats a silver play Its a penny share with a low capex with no debt. A rare animal indeed. Great Panther is the name. Listed on TSE or NSE. They have just had their wrists slapped for leaving the bunker door open and letting some explosives go walkies. Temporary shut down on the offending mine while they sort it. May present a buying opportunity but in the grand scheme of things means diddly squat.
Re: Tick Tock George - thanks for the Scotgold tip, I will check it out, I think the tide has turned back in gold and silvers favour so we will both do well over the coming months, let me know if you find anything else of interest.
Re: Tick Tock Ive got a few Scotgold too its the same geology as the Irish rock also in Newfoundland. I have an idea that there could be another Curraghinalt there at Cononish. Share price less than 1p. Yes I agree things globally not looking good but thats been the case for some time which is why Ive been a gold & sliver bug for a while. I was beginning to wonder about things in the run up to Christmas because the price of PMs was being dictated by the price of oil and the strong dollar. Flights into the dollar made no sense to me. Even on days where gold went up the miners kept falling. I believe the only way out of this mess will be to adopt a new global currency backed by gold. Im unsure of bitcoin due to its hackable qualities but neither can I envision a day where we will roll up to the supermarket to pay for bread with a gold or silver coin. So thats why I think we will still have a paper currency but with gold backing it. Gold will have to rise to a realisitc level to accomodate the level of all the money supply combined. I wonder where that will take us $25000/oz been mooted. Mmmm, chill the champers Geev
Re: Tick Tock I'm also in SRB, agree plenty of upside from current market cap, gold sentiment change will push all of these gold stocks this year, the currency devaluation/negative rates story isn't going to go away.
Re: Tick Tock Thanks for that Silveroil, Ive had a look but there seems to be a question mark over a couple of the directors so for now I will avoid. Ive got a tip for a miner thats recently gone into production. SRB.L they have just started production in the last 18 months with good grades. Current share price does not reflect the immediate upside potential as their second prospect has just come online. Also a mechanical breakdown at its first mine now sorted affected the 4th quarter results. With both mines up and running production should double and with the increase in gold price it can only go one way. Current buy price 3.14p. Another under the radar Company their discussion board on here is very quiet
Re: Tick Tock Right place at the right time for this stock, gold back in favour, amazing grades, strong management, well know investors, so will attract attention over the next 6 to 9 months as the company heads towards the planning approval process. If your into this one it's also worth investing in minco plc, they own a 2% NSR over the key part of the mine, Minco market cap (which is currently peanuts) doesn't reflect any upside currently so in my view would x5 the current share price there also.
Tick Tock Just a matter of time before this really takes off. This Co is definitely under the radar the proof is here on this board, this being the first post on iii discussion board. I came across it by accident after looking into another another prospect Galantas Gold which also has some good drill results. The main difference between the two is Galantas has already been mined at the surface and is now awaiting financing for underground. Dalradians Curraghinalt prospect is a new discovery albeit along the same geology. There are veins that have 40oz of gold per tonne.Yes I meant ounces. This is mind blowing stuff when you think some miners are extracting 1 gram of gold per tonne. These results are also from just a small area, there is much more to come. 17 year projected mine life Projected costs of less than $500 per tonne. Here are some links [link] [link]
