Fundraising My virtual portfolio is now telling me that Ceres Power is ‘No longer supported’ !!!
Fundraising Thanks Gordon - Job done
Fundraising Hi Mike, I use the virtual portfolio to combine my wife’s account with my own in the same way as you do. I’ve just changed the figures for Ceres Power so here is what you need to do. In virtual portfolio view, at the top of the page. This brings up a different view of your portfolio. Scroll down looking for Ceres power which will be on the left of the screen. Click on it and then scroll back to the top where you will find the details of cost, share numbers etc. You can then manually change these. To get back to original just edit view again. Hope this helps.
Fundraising This is the first time I have been able to even make a post. For some reason it kept telling me I was not logged in. I don’t think I will stay too long with II, the changes have really screwed my portfolio up. I used the research account to combine my account with my wife’s, so I could see the total in one place, rather than having to log in to both and doing the sum, (not difficult I know, but tedious). Anyway now the price has changed to 150 following the 1 for 10 I am showing a 999% profit, because they did not change the Av cost which is still showing 13p does anyone know how I can manually change this?
Fundraising many thanks
Fundraising Also I’m not sure you can access any news stories except the last 5 or whatever (which if you look at a company involved in a take over in less than 4 hours’worth. Of course the other place to look for news is the company’s own website. What I do is check in to the LSE website between 7 & 8 in the morning, select news, and RNS, and it has all the news releases from 7 that morning, which is when most of the main stories are released. If there is no news story of interest to me, it takes less than a minute to scan through the stories., so not too time consuming. Good luck all.
Fundraising gtand, the fund raising was reported in the news section … I think on Tuesday? Whereas it was very easy to know there was news and to click through to it on the old system you have to click on to Ceres Power to get all the graphs, price movement shares traded etc then troll right down to find the news and RNS section. Hope this helps
Fundraising I agree regarding the mess ii have made of what was a perfectly good discussion board system before. Also just getting back to thank Hardboy for persevering with posting. I have a small holding with Ceres and the value has increased about 80% which I’m very pleased with. I had a bigger holding of Ceramic Fuel Cells (CFU) in a similar technology area but it went bottom up and was a 100% loss!!
Fundraising Where did you learn about the fund raising ? I’m not keen on the new format. Maybe we will get used to it. Too clever by half !!!
Fundraising Not sure why I’m typing this - can’t imagine any sane person is left reading these awful discussion boards. ii’s upgrade has taken away all the best bits if what they had & left the stuff I don’t want; but I’ve not had time to look for a better site. Well that’s best part of £40m raised and another £26m to come in November. So that should keep them going till profits are rolling in or the technology has failed. One of the good things is what a small discount the placings have been at. This must mean the investors are convinced this is going to be a winner. Yes it’s diluted our share, but I’d rather have a smaller slice of a winner, than a larger slice of a loser.
JMAT When I investigated the Fuel Cell sector a few years back (& decided it was too early for a foray into fuel cell companies) Johnson Matthey appeared to have a monopoly ion the supply of catalysts for fuel cells across all developers. Today they reported their finals. it's only a small line, but this is what they said: "Sales of fuel cell products grew by over 50% in the year, helped by increased volumes to stationary applications for existing and new customers."So someone somewhere is ramping up the game.
Re: Technology Transfer Ok so in this context "Technology Transfer" = "Intellectual Property Sharing" so it would be very important to understand what " a longer term share in the profits " actually means. Perhaps this loss of intellectual property ownership will spur other potential partners into action!
