Evening Standard Market Minnow Croma was the subject of the Evening Standard's "Market Minnows" column yesterday.[link] online version is shorter than the print version. I like how Morley fired the entire board, and was proved right by turning the business around. I bought a little of the stock. I won't be surprised if my timing is lousy but I think their's good risk/reward over the long term if not sooner.
congratulations I have been with this company for years holding on more for sentiment than expectation but at last it is paying off and I hope they do very well from hence forth.
+ £1.00 soon !! Looks this going to go + £1.00 sooner than I thought. I'm hanging on in for the long term.
Croma Anyone still on this board. This company is now moving north - how long before we see £1.00 share price. Midway 2018 would be my guess. This is the right business to be in currently/sadly.Kofishman - hope you did not sell on that poor recommendation.
BUY Cracking little Company - going places - me long term holder and buying more for retirement fund !!
Re: Accounting Error Tom Winnifrith advises sell.
Accounting Error A rather harse downward movement in the share price for what was a small accounting error, which is more than covered by this years trading. Well run Company like their honesty and transperancey - rare these days. Would expect the share price to move back up next few days. Maybe a good opportunity to buy a few more.
Re: Why the sudden rise? Prospects are improving here. I expect it to go above 50p soon.
Re: Why the sudden rise? I suspect it's the small number of shares available [less than 15m] so a bit of buying sends it up and vice- versa.
Re: Why the sudden rise? your correct acgm33 - it is December news - I have never been very quick. In that case something must be driving it on very small turnover.Regards.
Re: Why the sudden rise? That is December's news!
Re: Why the sudden rise? See the news re dividend payment and high trading expectations - hence todays rise.
Re: Why the sudden rise? I have no idea if it has anything to do with the sudden rise but once again I am receiving calls from US asking to buy my shares at an highly inflated price. Each time I have treated the approach as a scam and assume that if I went further at some point I would be asked to put cash up as a sign of good faith. Surely I am not the only shareholder to have been approached?
Why the sudden rise? Somebody must know something here?
