I wouldn't be surprised if there is a buyer out there who is trying to facilitate a purchase through a bond trader, which may also account to how the stock has been moving recently.. It would be interesting to see some sort of trading level with the bonds.. Maybe there is a disparity between them and the underlying equity.IMO the notes have turned out to be the key to the share price until maturity.. Its just a pity that there is no hidden redemption somewhere within them.. Maybe the company could repurchase some of them.

Re: I Just Hope I hold some of the notes. Don't remember a clause for redemption by the company before majurity. Holders have option to redeem twice annually. Have no intention of redeeming until the end.Don't worry about the notes. This is a hold and wait and ride out turbulence, if you trust the management.So far I think they have executed well with more to come.My Instem holding is also on the back of this as once ADMETox is determined companies want a more effiicient business process for clinical data and FDA submission.

Re: I Just Hope Hello UP,The notes are listed on the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange (CSX).You can find them under Retail Debt.ISIN: GB00BQ1XZP96 amount: 3,160,684ISIN: GB00BQ1QZQ04 amount: 4,194,764As far as I can see, there has been no trading in those notes. Perhaps it is just a listing and ORYX /Harwood are holding them tightly. Ambiorix.

I Just Hope I just hope we are not going to see a repercussion of Jan 2014 when the company issued a trading update indicating an account charge relating to the loan notes.If the recent rise is down to new investors who are not aware of this then in terms of share price we are back to square one as by my calculations a charge of over 4 million will need to be applied.On a positive note it sounds like sales will near enough balance this out. INMO if sales can continue to grow like we are all hoping then the share price should continue to grow as it has during the past few months .Personally I think things will really get interesting the nearer we get to 2018 so long as the company keeps generating strong cash flow.Does anyone know if there is an embedded option for the company to redeem these at a certain level.. Also has anyone a trading price for the notes and convertables.????

Re: U.S.Bill good news.chinese are (or were) a problem.if i remember correctly cosmetics had to be animal tested for china even if proven ok elsewhere.i may be wrong on that.as for the loan notes, it's not that bad.look at the deal esg (eservglobal) has for £10m with Henderson group companies - that onerous.15% on one loan for £5m, 9.68% on another for £5m plus 15% options possibly to add to share count.they are Hendersons debt slave until oct 2017 at the earliest.

U.S.Bill The U.S house of representative,s have during the past 24 passed an amended bill to restrict animal testing on cosmetics subject to the president making it statuate.INMO this is excellent news for Cyprotex.The dreaded loan notes may turn out to be a blessing in disguise after all

Sellers The price may fall back but the problem for the sellers that are trying to trade is the spread and the tightness of the holdings.OK to sell but try getting back in without a decent % of trading profits going up in smoke or not being able to get back in and seeing it take a breath for a while before rising further.Demand for CRX capabilities is only likely to increase so as far as I am concerned it has to be a buy and hold and wait and don't get tempted to sell in the hope of buying back in.

Re: Trading Update I understand what you are saying carefully.. After all like yourself I have been with this one for a long time.. like you are saying . If there are still problems with the U.S. then hopefully we will all be rewarded when they are resolved..After all these years I just hope Cyprotex will not be bought out at a level where the majority ( in terms of quantity of shareholders and not majority holders ) will miss out on the potentially good times ahead.

Re: Trading Update Things are coming together OK.If you can't see it then I can't see what has to happen to make you see it.They will significantly exceed current market forecasts. If the US is still not firing on all cylinders imagine what will happen when it is. Just wait and barring some unexpected headwinds or a fire at a lab this will pay back even more handsomely.New money is joing today & they are not buying to make a loss.I'm not sure about the convertibles as they would have to pay a pretty penny to get them back.Baxter still has his 120p incentive and I think he will get there + some. Volumne re mvmt The fall yesterday was on very small volumne. If my figures are correct the stock has increased 16% on net buys of approx. 36,000 shares after we take out the sales of today.Personally I am not sure if this is good news or bad.. Its probably good news for us already holding the stock so long as the good news keeps coming as this could rocket on very small volumne.

As all that seems to get published is N1 singers reiterate as a buy with no information.Maybe next year is the year when things really do come together in a big way.. It would also be nice to see some of these convertables bought back and cancelled before maturity.

Recent Fall Does anyone have any idea as to the recent price fall..My guess is that the U.S operations are still not resolved which will have a material impact on year end figures.. Especially as there are only two weeks to go.
