Re: Future the sell out you might mean Henderson?I think that is related to Alphagen Volantis that is run by (owned) by Henderson. Some clever people will have worked out what the total related party holding would have been vs return if they also have loan notes and then decided to reduce or sell-out some element. As for the funding, the capital holders would have acted purely in their own interest and organised it to be most advantageous to them, PI's are secondary.

Re: Future Harwood are on both the shareholder and loan note holder sides of the fence and very influential.I think we can take it that they will be consulted and their "overall benefit" is high up on the list of priorities to crx.I'm not able to think this through but there must be some outcome that will maximise the return to Harwood. Some final valuation that maximises the total equity + loan note value. We will end up there, the best bias point for Harwood.Could that be a share price where total equity is zero?It needs a clever accountant to work it out.It might be taken private to achieve a pay off to the shareholder element?MBO?

Future Is there anyone who works for the company that posts on this bulletin board.. Personally and I am sure other readers would love to hear their views on the current situation. From the outside it looks like a fantastic company screwed by funding issues. Also something which has always baffled me is that one of the biggest shareholders sold out just before this funding was sort. For me it just doesn't add up if they were that wealthy why were funds sort elsewhere rather from them.

Re: Today A couple of years ago I contacted singer and CRX with regards to these notes.. Both of them informed me that none of the notes could be repaid before redemption date. Which is why I have always been negative as to how they raised these funds. Cyprotex also said that that no bank or institution would lend them the funds at that time. Which also goes to show how the banking system in this country fails small businesses.Maybe the holders will offer an early exit allowing Cyprotex to remain independent and realise its full potential.

Re: Today When results are substantially in excess of expectations they have to announce so the market is aware. It is messier than needs be but the idea was the cash would be used for acquisitions but nothing of a sensible valuation arrived so they had cash and burden of the notes without any bolt-on acquisitions to integrate. Some of the original loan can be paid back from cash in bank.

Re: Today A merger would be fantastic for Harwood/trident and NO one else.Do you really think that CRX will be valued at more than a £1 with any merger as £8 million plus original £7 million will need to be repaid.Cyprotexs best option is to find an institution who would inject Cash into the business without such terms and then have nothing to do with Harwood.. after all they are adding nearly £3 million to the balance sheet per year now.Personally I would like to see this carry on with the price held down below a £1 until these are paid off.aside from these matters there has been extreme dirty tricks going on.. Remember what I have said in the past.. Timing of press realises.. 17/12/2015 which lead to a inflated price of 1.30.Then nothing released until today.. Had they waited until jan 1st the average price would have remained below a £ 1.Not incurring £8 million chargeThis as I said at the time has been a deliberate ploy to inflate the price for reasons which have now become apparentBefore anyone thinks this is clever. Its not its criminal as the same way the world was bought to its knees with the so called clever bankers and their dirravative,s .How singer can act as their company advisor beggars belief., by hooking them up with such a productGoing forward I wouldn't be surprised if we start to see some resignations along the way as I am sure there are some people connected with the company where these events dont sit very well

Re: Today It's not bad for those holding the notes.A merger with SBS would be interesting and they share some similarities and shareholders.Good luck whatever happens.

Today Personally I am not surprised at all.. I have mentioned in the past a number of concernsThe biggest has been these notes..INMO the share price is going nowhere until these are repaid. Which after todays announcements Isnt likely to happen unless its bought out.My guess is that this will go private with Harwood/trident holding the majority of stockHopefully this will happen soon and give PI,s a decent return from this level.. I would have thought that we should get at least 1.10/20, but who knows we may end up just getting 1.00.Whatever happens there is not going to be a hefty return.I still find it ridiculous that they tied themselves into such a loan

Re: Results Hold from me now given today's news. Not clear if a strong buy.

Re: Results I don't know if they might drop. The news today was a surprise to me. I was fully aware of the loan notes and implications but not that it would lead to an early idea to sell the company. The fact the current situation is less then ideal for all shareholders and it mentions a solution to the benefit of all stakeholders suggests they don't want to do harm to ordinary investors but benefit them too, not just loan note holders. We are all at the mercy of the BOD and their ability to extract maximum value in a sale or merger. This company is a gem. Some disgruntled holders will no doubt jump now. I find it hard to imagine it being sold for less then yesterday's market cap. Just look at the results and expectation of solid results from all sites in 2016. It's heading up in terms of revenue, margin and gross profit.Sorry, I don't have an answer.

Re: Results Carefully does it - are these likely to drop if there is a takeover / merger on the way?? - is it to do with the people holding the loan notes? - sorry not too bright on these things.Bram

Re: Results I hold some loan notes and should this fall below 80p, and an investor have patience, it's worth filling your boots with them in my opinion. 3-5 yrs of patience should see a very healthy return in a very ethical share. The news today is important, noteworthy, and differentiates Cyprotex. It's looking bright to me.

Re: Results Don't expect too much.all that will happen is that the share price may spike if the results are way ahead of expectations which they mentioned 3 months ago..In other words work on a percentage.. I.E 20% which coming from a company making just over a million isn't much.even if it does spike once new investors realise that any movement in the price is lost , because of the loan notes. so as someone suggested to me in the past sell on the next spike. Which I shall definatly be doing if it does jump. Also look at the head count.. INMO any profit is going to be lost due to this.. They only need another volcanic reaction or bad weather to happen and that will also destroy any profits. Which has occurred in the pa

Price drop Hopefully most of the punters who jumped on board without understanding the cr...p note implications have now all sold up.Unless there is something hidden that is about to materialise. I can only see a positive 12 months looking at their level of recruitment via the web site.. There is always a danger that they have lost a number of people and these are replacements.
