Good Results Interesting that the acquisition of Neiman and the totes have not contributed to these figures. These should make a substantial difference to the final results. Definitely seems to be headed in the right direction.Could well be over 30p when the finals are announced around July.

Re: Chart Breakout Number biter - I hope that todays Interims have helped allay your concerns here as we now have a very decent profit, increased dividend, substantially reduced gearing ( due to rapidly reducing debt)-although I agree that a speed up in the debtor cycle would be beneficial I suspect that the nature of many of our larger clients prevents them from paying as quickly as we would prefer.Hopefully last years bad debt was a one off & we are now much less dependent on the sector in question & I suspect that an increasing % of our sales are to organisations who have little chance of failing ( whilst always possible) but will not pay quickly

Interims today Good performance, strong outlook statement & 50% increase in our Interim dividend ( with, presumable an increase in our Final next year). The transition from hopeless basket case with 1 major product line in terminal decline to a diverse group with various income streams appears to be well under way & I have to congratulate JG for his achievements so far.Perveresely The Ferster family must be delighted as,although they lost their jobs , they still hold about 10% of the company & the SP has almost doubled since they left & their dividends have increased.Additionally our recent IIs will be very pleased with their investment here & it will be interesting to see whether our SP will be marked up today & our re rating continue

Re: Chart Breakout Interesting first post ,number biter, & I presume that, somehow, you are short. You may well be right as CRU has failed to excite or produce decent results for many years or ever, having formerly been dependant on 1 major product line(media products) which has been in decline for as many years. However,if ever the cycle is to be broken it us around now ,with view to major diversification over the last 2/3 years resulting in various different. Income streams & seemingly shrewd acquisitions. The weak oil price should result in a reduction in our cost of sales & consequential improvement not in margins & following recent contract wins for £2mill for the production of totes/crates & our recent cheap acquisition of the assets of Neiman. we are likely to report record profits for the 6 months to 31 Oct & an expectation of a record year. Our historical net dividend is 0.7p ,which could be increased this year resulting in a decent yield.I started buying a few years ago & my average cost is about 11p so this has not been a bad investment for me but I recognise that a further setback ( such as the bad debt last year) & our SP will plummet back towards 10p or less.

Re: Chart Breakout With debtor days at 80 days, very little profit and huge debt, this is hardly a buy. Only the brave would hold.

Roger Baron 17 Nov 2015

why's that then? Volume usually very low here, but today volume quoted on iii is 17,456 yet this number is made up of three trades all of which were made yesterday morning not today.Actual vol today appears to be zero!

Re: Chart Breakout Well I don't think they skimmed much off the top. The last trade that brought the price down to 19p was only for £30!

Re: Chart Breakout Well that was short lived. It seems these days that automated computer systems may have been developed that skim off any significant rise in an AIM stock. One cant keep a good man down indefinitely winners will eventually break through

BADDOGREX3 12 Nov 2015

Chart Breakout We have broken through the old resistance at last ??I believe that the low oil price will have massively helped the bottom line.Prices for plastic feed stocks are directly related to oil price. Platts index of petro feed stocks based on Naptha has fallen over 40% this year! This shows that the weakness in crude prices is really funneling down the supply chain This is good news for CRU. In addition the next set of results could reflect the rewards being reaped from the restructuring and the integration of the acquisitions. Network rail is spending £25bn on untangling track and other major projects between 2014 and 2017 TATRA Plastics makes rail pads that go into new track. Lets hope that we are selling product to them .This is beginning to look good.Perhaps holders can now look forward to a share price that is indicative of the changes?Fingers crossed as volume is still pitiful

Sharp rise Big move on tiny volume.

alone but happy

AGM statement today Very positive statement today & trading in line with market expectations. However ,our Neiman acquisition seems to have been integrated very quickly with an expecation of increased revenues which together with the additional tote contract could result in an uograde in our expected profits for the current year together with a dividend increase later this year.An investment which is unlikely to set the world alight but it,currently, looks pretty safe & is paying me a net yield of over 6% which I cannot complain at

dave297 04 Aug 2015

Interims Were stronger than I expected, despite the declared bad debt. The recent cheap acquisition of the Neiman business & announcement of initial crate orders of £2.1mill suggests that 15/16 should be a good year (excluding any unforeseen disasters)& the divididend may be increased.Happy to hold.

Re: Excellent News Results due soon should contain a very strong outlook message with 2016 looking like a year of substantial progress.I am here now until JG s exit which I am guessing will involve a disposal of the Cru at some point in the next 2/3 years & until then we have a yield over 5% (depending on our cost) which is set to increase further

Shmully 30 Jun 2015

Excellent News This will make a massive difference to Coral. Should be over 20p by the end of the summer.
