Re: total number of new shares? I did apply and manged to get more stock in the open offer, thanks TX2 as I was not aware of the info, as my stocks are held in Nominee A/c

Thanks TX2, INVESTEC did not inform me of this, and I asked following your comment and have now made an application for more shares, they were not very confident in getting any allocated.But from my point of view I should have been informed of the opportunity top apply, I guess as my stock are held on a nominee account I loose some direct contact .

Taylor Wimpey Interesting to see that TW have a JV / option agreement with Harworth on about 300 hectares dating back a few years now and running until 2020.

Re: total number of new shares? TX2 , Thats interesting,I asked Investec and was told I would only be entitled to my allocation of 1 for 7 .

Re: total number of new shares? If we assume they get to an asset land value of £400m what would the reasonable share price prediction be less debt and pension fund 25%? I am assuming the market discounts slightly from the total assets as they tend to do.

The placing part of the issue is fully subscribed;but existing shareholders can subscribe for additional shares from Open Offer allocation.I have subscribed for my basic allocation + additional shares.The additional shares will be available from shareholders who dont apply for their allocation in the OO and I understand from various Peel related holders who are subscribing to the placing part but have made their allocation to the OO available to other existing shareholders if they wish to apply for extra shares.

Excellent I will back the rights issue and also apply for more shares I think after many many years of being shackled by coal pension deficits and mining disputes/disasters this could appreciate fairly rapidly if given the chance before peel play their hand and take it all out.......the land is worth £500m do the maths! 222

Re: total number of new shares? Your computations re number of shares appear correct.It is also raising some additional capital,about £15m, beyond the cash amount of the total consideration it is paying the pension fund for Haworth.
