Re: NEW ARTICLE: Crawshaw fulfils promis... The LFL figures for the first half are -2.2% in Q1, +3.5% in Q2 and +6.7% during the first 7 weeks of the second half. Regarding how far this stock has to go, management strategy is to increase the number of units to 200 (from present 36) over the next 7 years or so. Therefore this is a long term story and if management do deliver, then £1 level may well be the base of an exponential curve. The present share price, IMHO, reflects the long term growth story and the iliquidity of the stock.
Re: NEW ARTICLE: Crawshaw fulfils promis... Whilst clearly getting this wrong at the moment a brokers target of 100p means nothing to me.They are paid to push the price up.the 42% growth has also come from buying other companies. What are the LFL figures? You may well be right this has further to go but you don't want to be on the bus last!Tiger

NEW ARTICLE: Crawshaw fulfils promise and doubles "Despite a slower start to the year, fresh meat and food-to-go retailer LSE:CRAW:Crawshaw reckons it will smash market expectations in 2015, thanks to a raft of new management-led initiatives. Good trading what is the forecast for this year?Plenty of cheap meat about so they will be making good margins.Market cap v earnings still looks high but I fancied a pull back and its not happened.tiger
Butcher Any retail shop trading up athe moment must be doing something right as retail was flat over the summer .the wholesale price of meat is down a fair bit watch the gross profit jump 1-2% on the 29 September next up date day.

Re: Warning Sign? All I see is new stores opening news , should see £1 before too long
The new living wage will be difficult too over come IMHO, hope the roll out works out
Re: Warning Sign? CT,It may not be as bad as it looks IMHO; Crawshaw shares are highly illequid (try and trade them soon after important news) and therefore Directors may be selling to raise cash but also to improve liquidity. Bear in mind that Arrowgrass has moped up almost all of the Directors' sales (bar Crawshaw's) buying 850000 out of the 950000 shares sold. Having said that, I do understand your worry.
Warning Sign? Never like to see Directors and Ex owners un loading especially before we roll out to 200 stores.Could be a time to reduce as it looks a bit toppy to me?Views please.tiger
