The current share price is low because of market conditions and now is the time to be buying as the company's finances are improving. Losses are reducing, order intake is improving and the company is moitoring it's throughput. I will be very surprised if the company is not making a profit in two years time. As ever we will waiting for a bull market to emerge as all share prices are dependant on such conditions.
There is without doubt a bear market in second class sharesand, if one is brave enough now is the time to add as the fundementals look promising. how many companies are there with a growing order book and at the same time reducing losses? For my money this is a punt to add to a portfolio and just to be patient.
PS see his other spectacular failure CSF Group
On yer bike Cartmell! As I have said all along PC has coined it for himself ever since in got behind the desk at Corac. How he sits there just taking his £250k salary is beyond he. Resign man and let someone with half a brain take over. There are sellers at 3p, which tells volumes about what investors think of the management
Re: Technology Testing & Validation Hmmm - seems I was wrong and apologise you did state that we should be cautious.Sorry for being a complete dick!
Re: Technology Testing & Validation I did look for your warning but could not find anything. Please show where you made this forecast or do i regard you as a spoofer?
Technology Testing & Validation I did warn of this many months if not years ago.It looks that the current approaches to expand the order book is working. This means that the product offering has been proved out using sound technology validation methods
Re: Final Nail Sadly the goose has been slain after consuming so much golden seed and failing to lay the promised golden eggs. I doubt if we can even make some foire gras out of it and the death was too late for Christmas dinner. Maybe we can freeze it for Christmas this year. Good job the share issue went well whilst hope of the golden eggs was still possible.
Bye bye dgc While it's gutting that the years of research and trials are suspended I'm glad that good money isn't being thrown after bad....I felt management should be declaring a target timescale to arrive at profitability - this year?
Final Nail Well that is the final nail in the coffin for DCG and ICG. After years of pushing the technology and spending millions of pounds, we are presented with an RNS that treats this strategic change as low key and positive move. Sorry for all the long term private investors who have lost on this investment, who will never see a return on their investment
Re: More 2016 jam? The problem is the company is run by an out of touch CEO, who is spending cash like no tomorrow on a compressor no one wants. Needs to slash this division to to bone and running the biz professionally and not like some head in the sand ostrich. Also they way it separates central overheads is misleading and doesn't show the true position of its trading divisions
Re: More 2016 jam? Would be good to get some positive news on something other than ACI. We seem pretty fairly priced for ACI now but no value for anything else - would be nice to have something to attach some value to!
Re: More 2016 jam? good progress
More 2016 jam? It's good to learn that ACI is still adding to it's order book - now £13.4mThis all relates to sales that will be delivered in 2016.I guess that for commercial reasons we are not going to know what profit contribution will flow through to the bottom line. However, it would have been helpful to know if the contracts include adequate payment terms to fund the builds. Helpful and reassuring and (IMO) not commercially sensitive. We should have a trading update for 2014 soon and I am hoping for positive sentiment to return to CRA and be reflected in the share price. As ever, just opinion and DYOR
Provided the company's results when announced are as management predicted I expect the share price to be much higher.
