Oversold? The share price reaction to the update yesterday is understandable - lot's of cagey language like "potentially update" and "deferment" as well as suggestions that significant news will be pushed back to 2016, and if we're lucky, late 2015.Still, it felt like an honest update and not one pushing the hype excessively - better to under-promise and over-deliver.The drop may be a little overdone though - there were plenty of positives in the update alongside the measured language. Tech and cost improvements to the super-thin capacitors and increasing requests for product testing, excellent progress with the tier 1 automotive partner, collaboration with Thale avionics progressing. RSI is now close to oversold. The price is balanced over the 100day EMA. MCAP is a relatively measly £15million, when one considers any one of their potential markets can be measured in £billions, and by all accounts the tech and interest is progressing well. A lot could change in a couple of months with progress on any of the current projects, or, indeed, new projects surfacing. In a recent ProActive interview Elliot said that they were sufficiently financed to not need to go back to the market unless it was to fund a large project with a partner (i.e. a revenue generating one). And the final comment reads very well:"We remain very excited by the opportunities that we see for our supercapacitors in the automotive markets and the IoT and remain confident for the outcome for the year."Bearish though it feels at the moment, I'd wager that the upside from here will be far more significant than the downside......GLA
Re: One word Agree 'deferred' is an evocative word, the upside is we will have a positive update very soon. Still firmly believe we will see double figures by Christmas.
One word Who'd have thought one word - 'deferment' could have such an impact on the sp. A rather bullish RNS imo which also explained the potential reason for deferment - "...As customers plan for the changes to these new parts...." I'd have much preferred the wording 'As customers plan to incorporate our new products' - but you can't have everything in lifeAll the bestN&S
Re: CPX on Directors talk Lull before the storm, fingers crossed for a massive order RNS!
Re: CPX on Directors talk Don't like to count my chickens before they hatch and all that but totally agree things should be hotting up soon. Should be guaranteed some good news hopefully at least from one channel of sales. The RNS 1/9/15 stated:"........During FY15, the company announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with a North American Tier-1 Automotive components company. Following the supply and testing of numerous evaluation modules with good results, the Company anticipates making further announcements associated with this undertaking during the next three months....."Sometime December at the latest for an update - fingers crossedN&S
Re: CPX on Directors talk Things could be HOTTING up very soon!
Probably barking up the wrong tree but what caught my eye in the recent RNS (and probably tipped my investment in CPX along with CPX's prospects) was the following "....During the year the Company signed a new agreement with Thales Research Centre to evaluate new materials and to develop new products for Thales Avionics businesses...."Now Thales imo, is no tin pot company - if they, a global company are in discussions / agreements with CPX then surely our market cap is not reflecting just where we are at with the seriousness of our business offering - or is it? I know sales are everything.[link] "if you can dream" comes to mind but would I be out of mind for a 28p target price over a year if all comes to fruitionLet me daydream for a second or twoTake careN&S
Re: Mail online-could soon be way over 7p Looks like 9p+ tomorrow!

Re: CPX on Directors talk Good comments 'niceandsimple'. I will be dissapointed if we do not see 60p+ within a couple of years. Happy days, months and years ahead.
anybody here also in WRES??? if news next week, it might be multibag like AFPO
Re: CPX on Directors talk Hi, if we become a fraction of ARM's market cap I'd be made up. CPX's dialogue with global companies (for product evaluation / sales) gives me confidence in the future especially with initial product feedback / award. The imminent prospect of global sales into a growing global market cannot be understated in my decision to invest. When CPX translates dialogue / evaluation into sales / revenue streams in the coming quarters - can't wait to see what happens to the sp - and of course there is a risk at the moment but they are reducing - aren't they? 2015-2016 is pivotal - when the sp will be on 11/9/16 who knows - I'd be extremely disappointed if we were 6p'ish or below.N&SN&S
Re: CPX on Directors talk Marvellous potential that has so much upside, I believe we could see the next ARM!
