looking to buy at 45p this looks like it might be a great buy at 45pfingers crossed it gets there now support has gone
Re: Mining Rights El salvadore has always denied us the right to mine their exploration concession. This goes back beyond when I bought in maybe 8 years ago. Condor has priced salvadore concession at zero but if the wind had changed direction our site would have doubled in size.Anyway, has our exploration concession got an end date? At the moment there is no point in drilling there as actual mining is banned. No big deal.
Mining Rights A one liner in today's RNS:-"El Salvador's government passed a bill to ban metal mining outright across the country"That can't be a helpful trend, what change Nicaragua will follow suit ?
Positive Week The shares ended the last day of trading before Easter UP 5.3% on the highest volume seen in the last month. In the last couple of months we have had the placing to put the finance on a very firm footing together with confirmation of the current shareholdings of the six very impressive significant shareholders who between them own nearly 40% of Condor. We have also had details of this years drilling program and the gold price is doing well.I am hopeful that this will be Condors year and that the sp will rise substantially to reflect its true value. Ideally this will be achieved by the long awaited take over bid.

Re: Master Investor Show 2017 nobody wants to pay out serious money to take it off Mark Child's hands========== ===Not, it appears, at the moment DJ. Probably considered still a risk re permits and land aquisition plus a long way from producing an ounce of gold. But get the permits and hopeffuly hopefully thing will look more interesting for the mid/majors
Re: Master Investor Show 2017 A polished and concise presentation but in spite of "big-named" investors nobody wants to pay out serious money to take it off Mark Child's hands. One day, maybe, but ???????.

2017 Drilling Programme 31st March 2017Condor Gold plc('Condor', 'Condor Gold' or 'the Company')2017 Drilling ProgrammeClick on the associated PDF document inorder to review the maps and the fullannouncement:[link] Gold (AIM: CNR) is pleased to announce that, following a Placing whichraised £5.242 million (See RNS dated 20th February 2017), work is now underwayon a 10,000 m drilling programme for 2017 at the La India Project, Nicaragua(the "La India Project". This will have dual objectives, being (i) resourceexpansion- to increase the existing mineral resource (18 Mt at 4.0 g/t Au for2.31 Moz gold) over the La India Project, and (ii) scout drilling, which hopesto identify new resources hosted in additional veins sets on the 313 km2Project and demonstrate a major Gold District.Resource ExpansionIn accordance with the first objective, Condor has completed approximately 360m of a 2,000 m drilling programme, which has commenced on the Mestiza Vein Set('Mestiza'). This will test a historic Soviet mineral resource. If successful,it is expected that further drilling of about 4,000 m would be needed toconvert the majority of the Soviet mineral resource to a NI 43-101-compliantInferred Mineral Resource. This is significant for four reasons:1. Soviet-backed drilling in 1991 estimated a Soviet-style mineral resourceof 2,392 kt at 10.2 g/t gold for 785,694 oz gold at Mestiza (Table 2). Condorhas used the Soviet data, and subsequent drilling undertaken by Canadiancompanies, to plan a drill programme to convert the Soviet resource to Westernstandards.2. Mestiza already hosts a NI 43-101-compliant mineral resource of 1,490 ktat 7.47 g/t for 333,000 oz gold (Table 1). However, this is excluded from thecurrent Pre-Feasibility Study and Preliminary Economic Assessments at La IndiaProject.3. There is a high possibility of bringing additional high grade gold fromMestiza into a future mine plan, feeding a centralised processing plant.4. The current 2,000 m drill programme is relatively shallow, with 18 drillholes mostly less than 100 m. Furthermore, the existing resource is open alongstrike in both directions and at depth. The shallow nature of the resourcesuggests it could be added early on to the mine plan, enhancing the productionprofile and economics of the Project.Table 1 Mestiza Vein Set NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate SRK NI-43-101 resource estimate (30-09-2014) Vein Category Tons (kt) Grade (g/t) Au (oz) Espinito Inferred 200 7.7 50,000 Buenos Aires Jicaro Inferred 210 8.0 53,000 Tatiana Inferred 1,080 6.6 230,000 TOTAL 1,490 7.5 333,000 Table 2 Mestiza Vein Set Soviet GKZ Mineral Resource Estimate (including theabove NI-43-101 resources) Soviet GKZ mineral resource estimate (1991) Vein Category Tons (kt) Grade (g/t) Au (oz) Espinito C1,C2,P1 353 9.8 112,013 San Pablo P1 39 12.2 15,338 Buenos Aires Jicaro C2, P1 317 16.8 171,489 Tatiana C2, P1, P2 1,682 9.0 486,855 TOTAL 2,392 10.2 785,694 Figure 1 Location of 7 resources that comprise the La India ProjectNote: The numbers in Table1, Table 2 and Figure 1 have been rounded whereappropriate.Scout DrillingIn line with the second objective, and as ann

Re: placement 40% of the company is in safe hands. I see no problems in the future...
Re: placement This placement is very good news in my opinion. The discount to the closing share price is tiny in comparison with other placements I've personally bought into. It reflects a vote of ongoing confidence on the part of Ross Beatty and others and gives the company the working capital it needs going forward, thus lifting the uncertainty that can arise over future operations. Anyone worrying about their relative holdings being diluted should feel free to follow Beatty's lead. This is a solid hold. The time to buy was when Fred came on here with his calls for 40p. It's not a sell either; I may sell a third when we hit 90p again as that will be important resistance that we will likely overcome once we form a cup and handle.
