Re: licence deal The next news will not be the license award,it will be the coordinates of the acreage in the proposed exploration block.This & the excellent prospect of a lucrative license should help to keep speculators interested. However,All license awards in Ghana have to be ratified before they can be considered legitimate.The next meeting where ratification is possible (and there's no guarantees) is in October.So there will be no licence award before then.Investors should sit back and enjoy the ride on the Clontarf Express until ratification is announced,whence they may leave the train with a very significant capital gain.

Re: Any ideas It's a very complex issue and has been ongoing for a number of years now,private investors only get snippets of info but my extensive research suggests Clon genuinely have an excellent prospects of securing an oil block in Ghana.Clon&Pets court case against GNPC was rather compelling and I believe that's why it is now being settled out of court amicably by both parties.Of course, there's no guarantees,especially in Ghana, but on a risk/reward ratio, long speculators could enjoy a thrilling ride on the most highly geared oil share on the LSE.

Re: Recent rise The recent rise is due to the increasing likelihood of Clon being awarded a lucrative oil exploration block in Ghana,next to Tullow's Massive 'Jubilee Oil Field'. The impact of such an award on a company with a mkt cap of around £2million would be very significant, and that's why Clon is currently the most highly geared oil play on LSE.Expect volatility both ways,as more speculators arrive at the table,but only those who hold when the license award is announced will be rewarded with a multi-bagger !

AGM Sir, There are very few shares that can return 400% +, in a week ! Of course, Clon is no blue chip share, and I never expected it to be with an tiny mkt cp of £8/900k & price of 0.17/0.18 when I invested. It was very clear to me exactly what kind of company I was investing in.So, not sure what your point is other than sour grapes about previous losses you have incurred with Clon.Clontarf's AGM on Thursday, maybe update/statement on Ghana ! Even after last weeks substantial rise,Clon is stilL,arguably,the most highly leveraged oil play on the LSE.
