Another update Another very positive update out of this team. A big tailwind from sterling. No complaints from me; a big capital rise and a great income too.......good stuff.....keep at it and don't relax on cost control.....

Results fine Results out today, down a bit with EPS of 23.3p v 26.4p, but EPS should now be on the way up again, thanks to weak sterling and stronger emerging markets.I think it's all down to funds flow now, will CLIG win new mandates and grow assets under management? Emerging markets have had a great run up, and a lot of institutional fund managers will be kicking themselves for not participating in it......A Hold for me. But we could be in for a bumpy ride on the markets, led by the USA.CLIG is a well run little company, in my view. Probably a bit over dependent on a few key staff.

Re: results out Agreed. I too am a long term investor. The unchanged dividend is great and once emerging markets pick up the share price will advance.

results out Results out today. It's no surprise that they are down, all emerging markets have fallen hugely, so their fee income had to have fallen. I think that this is a well run small company. Everything depends upon them winning new mandates. Market forces are blowing a gale at them. My biggest concerns are that the dividend will most likely be uncovered, the pound could strengthen against the dollar, and emerging markets could fall further. On the positive side, this is a great dividend payer, and emerging markets are now very cheap.I take a very long term view of investments. For that reason I regard this as a Hold. But the ride could be a bumpy one. The earnings are well below forecast, so the forecast p/e is higher than websites suggest.

Dead Cat? I bought for the huge dividend. It remains 24p, but has been since 2011. Just a feeling and hope I am wrong but I have sold at 298.89p. Good luck all holders.Regards,Seadoc

Dividend error My shares programme (Sharescope) is showing a 3.9p ex dividend today. They have confused CTY and CLIG.Wasted half an hour trying to find out whether dividend policy had been changed. Fright over.

topped again Topped up again today at a silly price; £2.67. Outstanding value in my view......

Greyinvestor 13 Jan 2016

Topped up Bought a few more today @ £3.27.......

Greyinvestor 12 Jan 2016

Results out Commendably detailed trading statement today.FUM fairly stable despite large falls in emerging markets. But this is flattered by the dollar being so strong.I think that the PBT annual rate is about £7.5m, based upon markets beeing flat and allowing for bonus payments.Emerging markets could, of course, fall further, but in my view they now represent good value and may therefore attract institutional interest.Based upon a £7.5m PBT, I value the business at around the current share price.A Hold for me. I have a decent sized holding already, sitting on a modest loss, mainly due to the dealing spread.Well done CLIG for exceptionally clear reporting, the best that I have seen.A dividend stock.

Topped up Topped up today at £3.34, it's been a long wait.........

Greyinvestor 27 Nov 2015

Price Thanks for all the comments. I have tried to top up my holding at a reasonable price, but found that the prices quoted in price feeds are entirely different from the price that you actually have to pay. The spread is enormous, due to low volume. All of this leads me to believe that the 'real' price hardly changes at all. It's virtually static at around £3.35 'mid price'. Sensible value at this price, but not strikingly cheap.
