Market response Looks like it didn't respond to the announcement yesterday, but did this morning, up 2.92%Games -- Have I timed one right for a change?
Re: Bought "Woody is a CIR fan"LK --- Agggh no he's not is he?Ruined my coffee morning now -- I might have to consider offloading it then.Games -- poor old Woody, although he got a bit of a lift with Babcock yesterday -- I didn't though because I don't own it -- and probably won't!!
Re: Bought Games,Welcome on board! As a GSK holder as well as a CIR holder I was in two minds about CIR's tab displacing GSK's.Woody is a CIR fan but, nevertheless, I feel that its clear and specific focus on allergies and, specifically, allergies that affect a lot of people merits a buy.LKH on the flybridge
Bought In for the first time.278 entry --- for the long term I assume.Let's hope they can dislodge some of GSK's market share, especially since lightening my load on GSK itself, the lumbering giant that it has become.Games

Asmtha cat attack!!!! [link] - So does this mean I should buy into this moggy affair?Games
Moving Up Seems to be finally getting somewhere. Anyone have any insight as to what is driving this?Dave
Re: Options I bought these on the basis they were developing allergy treatments and if successful the SP would leap manyfold. Buying other companies suggests to me that they are not so sure about the prospects for their own treatments so are buying other companies who are similarly not so sure otherwise wouldn't be selling. I suppose it diversifies specific risk but it was the specific risk I was buying.
Options Question: Should I take up my options now that the share price is below the option price or should I leave it? Can anyone explain why the share price dropped as soon as the acquisitions were announced? Does the market not like what Circassia is doing? Dave
Investment Encouraging that Neil Woodford has included a considerable investment in Circassia in his new Investment trust.
Re: Odey on board LEA,"Odey have spotted the potential"So has Woody Woodford. And (this is the clincher) so hasLKH on the flybridge in deep
Odey on board Surprised not more interest in this exciting allergy treatment developer which raised £200m in its initial public offering in March 2104.The biotech firm, which was spun out of university technology transfer group Imperial Innovations, priced its flotation at the upper end of its price range at 310p per share, but the sp has fallen back on the lack of news.Circassia's main products include treatments for cat allergy and similar products for house dust mites and hayfever, all allergy immunotherapy products that are designed to overcome the limitations of current treatments.Odey have spotted the potential 10x upside in the share price and added CIR to their highly successful Absolute Return Fund. If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me.AIMOO, DYOR etc
