"bit harsh there Paulo -- to be fair the supposed master investor Neil Woodenhead tipped this in a massive way and got completely burnt, or more accurately his unwitting investors did.No sorry, this is a Biotech and was always a wild punt, not one to pour 5% of your wealth into.I have to admit to being drawn into this alongside Woody and on his decision.The upshot is I've lost - hands up it's fair cop!One big lesson learned is to avoid the vast majority of stocks in Woody's 119 list.As far as LK is concerned, I'd say his views and tips have a far higher quality than WoodyGames -- although of late that wouldn't be difficult, Woody - the prize muxxet !!

Re: Takeover target Dave, It's hard to understand why anyone would want it if it doesn't have a product to speak of.It all looks highly suspicious to me and is there a possible fraud case here?How can you go through all those pre-trials and then have something utterly and completely useless and ineffective at the last trial?Maybe I'm missing something, but was there a big cat story used to secure more and more finance and then!!Games - sounds like a load of old bs -- maybe I should have invested in that bull sperm company LK has made a ton of wedge out of!!

Biotech Risk Warning [link] : and probably a reason why I won't be throwing any more money at early stage biotech or pharma companies :-One case of this happened recently with Juno Therapeutics, another leading player for cancer immunotherapy. One of the reasons this group has been so hot is that it is supposed to have fewer side effects than other cancer therapies. But last Wednesday, Juno put one of its clinical trials on hold because its lead drug caused serious brain swelling in two patients, and one passed away. Companies like Bluebird and Juno work with what is known as chimeric antigen receptor T-cell immunotherapy, also known as CAR-T. Lately, it seemed to Cramer that everyone wants to get in on the CAR-T business because it is viewed as a promising area of oncology. "You might think this problem was Juno's and Juno's alone, but if CAR-T immunotherapy is more dangerous than we thought, then it calls the whole group into question," Cramer said.Games - Anyone heavily exposed to Woody's fund might want to think carefully about this, although you are probably more concerned with the collapse of Capita right at this moment - a top 10 in his fund, or was until it collapsed.

Re: Dead Cat Paulo,Got profitably out of Colt finally on 31/1013 missing the peak but had traded in and out OK on several occasions.I can see why your not of fan of CIR.Still got a mixture of losers and winners that on balance leave me in profit thanks mainly and recently to boohoo.com and Glencore but the banks are all rubbish.Cheers, RAC

Re: Dead Cat Sometimes LK you have to bite the bullet !! I lost shed loads on Colt Telecom. All the time it was hemorrhaging the CEO et al were talking it up. Well they would wouldn't they on there enormous salaries and perks.plus of course these people always seem to then go on to other well paid jobs !!
