Moving up, new recent highs Looks like the dam has burst - a bit of institutional buying too given the two larger "OK" denoted Buy trades. The latest buy was at the full 157p offer, so it seems that hopefully the overhang has well and truly been cleared. If CHT is good enough for the likes of Gervais Williams it's certainly good enough for me.The cash has been spent on acquisitions. CHT has lovely high recurring income and is in an exponentially growing sector with a huge pool of possible acquisition targets.SOM has been a hugely successful investment for me, as an American company who are quoted over here and not over there. The reason CHT didn't list in the USA is because it wouldn't have met the NASDAQ listing requirements, which are rather stringent in financial terms (minimum market cap and/or share price, 3 years of profitability etc Which doesn't mean that on AIM it also couldn't be similarly successful.

Re: Outstanding Result / not sure "Why did Mr. Parmar list his US Company on the UK AIM market? "It's a very good question. Light governance perhaps?I'd take a look at the last annual report before piling too much money into this one :-[link] flows from investing activitiesCash outlay for property and equipment (6,703,114) (68,662)Cash acquired from acquisition 11,900Development of software tool (3,078,701) (4,960,714)Net deposits to restricted cash 97,000Capital Paid for Acquisition (34,650,000) Net cash used in investing activities (44,431,815) (4,920,476)That's a 10X increase in cash outflow in one year. The revenue growth is hard to pick through, and if it's all attributable to bolting on the acquisitions - at least three. Also liabilities jumped from £33M in 2014 to £48M in 2015 --- against income of £6MCash in the bank dropped from £18M in 2014 to £2M in 2015.Personally I wouldn't touch this with a bargepole -- Mr Parma will be OK though if it all goes up the Mekong. Perhaps I'm overly pessimistics, but 75% of the assets are either goodwill or intangibles.Games
Re: Outstanding Result / not sure It would appear that the market does not have much faith in Mr Parmar,(CEO) otherwise the share price would be considerably higher than it is.Why did Mr. Parmar list his US Company on the UK AIM market? Had hedepleted his following / support in the US? Who holds the bulk of theshares....Sorry to be negative, but I read somewhere that Mr Parmar's immensely high lifestyle was at the expense of others / based on excessive bank-borrowings. Perhaps the leopard has changed his stripes, but that doesnot happen often.IMHO,ws
Re: Outstanding Result / not sure Agree I read Mr Parmar was described as a colourful character which I do not like so tried to find a bit more info sorry if it is already known non ex Director Sir Rodney Aldridge OBE started up Capita and turned it into a Footsie 100 company . He holds 750, 000 CHT shares .Chairman J Johnstone started career at General accident then Ivory&Sime, Murray Johnston, Legg Mason. Non ex Dir. D.Clark was at Scottish Mutual then Ignis Asset formerly Resolution ran UK smaller co,s. I.C. D.Mail & iii like them. But of course no guarantees slightly nervous but will hold
Gervais Williams has big CHT holding It seems the legendary Gervais Williams is a fan of CHT.He runs the Miton UK Microcap Trust - and CHT is the seventh largest holding in the Trust. At 2.1% of NAV their holding must be worth almost £2m....Http: //www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/148089/small-cap-guru-s-top-ten-stocks-revealed-148089.html?utm_source=Sign-Up.to&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=7163-356569-proactivity+-+05%2F09%2F2016
Re: Outstanding Result / not sure Gretel - Do you remember Quindell with CEO Mr. Terry? That is a while back, but my memory lingers on. Extra cautious since then, perhaps over-cautious.Cheers,ws.
The iC says Buy CHT have been tipped in the IC....with the forecast now increased to around 17p EPS this year, plus a $10m+ cash pile, I'd hope CHT will gain further momentum over the coming weeks:[link] provision in the US is incredibly complex, made even more so by its continued evolution to cater for the ageing demographic, new insurance models and increasing healthcare needs. Medical services provider Constellation Healthcare (CHT) "is well placed to take advantage of this new paradigm", according to chief executive Paul Parmar. The group has spent the past few years bulking up its operations through acquisitions and is now starting to reap the rewards. That acquisition strategy has been complemented by organic growth, which peaked at 22 per cent sales-wise during the first half of the financial year. Constellation continues to increase the number of doctors using its medical billing platform and won 15 new clients in the period. Cost cutting, particularly in the medical billing division, helped to inflate adjusted operating profit margins, boosting total operating profit by 92 per cent to $57m (£43m).Investments in the comparable period last year stunted free cash flow, despite the cash-generative nature of the business model. But with those investments now yielding benefits, free cash flow has moved from a $4m outflow to an $11m inflow. Thus, Constellation has paid off some of its debt and moved into a net cash position as a result.Broker FinnCap has upgraded 2016 full-year forecasts and now expects adjusted pre-tax profits of $31.6m and adjusted EPS of 22.1? (from $20m and 20.4? in FY2015).IC ViewThe shares climbed 5 per cent on the back of these results but, having been treading water for the past few months, are trading on just nine times forward earnings. This fails to price in the potential growth on offer across the US healthcare market, as well as future contributions from recent acquisitions. Buy."PS : winningstreak, the appointment of Sir Rodney Bingham last year as an NED of CHT should give investors huge encouragement as to the credentials of the CEO, who is an entrepreneur and has had huge success as well as one or two less savoury episodes - in the USA these would be regarded as learning experiences for going forward.
Re: Outstanding Result / not sure Someone pointed out that CEO Paul Parmar has a 'colourful character', I checked Him out on Google, and I am sorry to say that I somehow do not feel comfortablewith the colours. To be on the safe side, I sold my shares this morning. If that is amistake, so be it. I do not like feeling uncomfortable.WS
Finncap increase forecasts today Finncap have increased forecasts slightly today - this year's forecast must now be around 15.5p EPS:[link] cash flow improved from a US$4mln outflow to US$11mln inflow. The group reported net cash of US$9mln. Cash from operations increased 160% to US$10.9mln." "First half results evidence the model and strategy are generating significant value, said analysts at finnCap. The broker upgraded its earnings per share estimate by 2% and reiterated the target price of 310p, around a 118% upside, citing a strong cash balance and strong prospects".CHT is just too cheap, especially with a $10m and rising cash pile.
Brilliant results I would think that this seems overlooked to me as results warrant a sizeable increase in share price.
Finncap retain their 310p target today [link]
Outstanding Results I can not see where the Company could do better! The H1 Results areoutstanding, growth is phenomenal. EPS for the full year in excessof 17 looks on the cards, indeed a certainty IMO.The share price is bound to rise from here on. I fully expect to see180p+ before the year is out, perhaps substantially more.At current price 151p the shares are a steal, IMO.I bought / topped up this morning at 151p, intend to hold long term.Cheers,ws
