Re: I think it's a strong buy Yes I do indaknow. It's my opinion. It's not based on nothing it's based on reading churchills evidence bundle. I've read all the tribunal documents but until I read our case yesterday I didn't appreciate the strength of our position. Now the wider market also does. Even a 99:1 is a binary bet!Today's drop on open was predictable. Orders need filled.
Re: I think it's a strong buy You seriously think that a hedge fund would invest in a situation with a binary outcome? Utter rubbish. Yes, the arguments in favour of CHL are strong, but arbitrations have been known to throw up perverse results and the level of material uncertainty here is still very, very high. The SP hasn't budged since the announcement.
I think it's a strong buy I've read our argument and the chance of success is very high in my opinion. I'm betting some hedge fund types are looking over this argument and deciding if they want to take this up before the result. Volume and price movement will be obvious.
Final Deliberations. Should be within six weeks ,now we have both sides arguments in . Note Indonesia was late ,again . Good luck All Especially Our Legals & Shareholders. And May
Re: Must be getting close I think he is applying volume spread analysis arguments. I only know a little of it, but in this instance and to paraphrase massively I think perhaps the basic argument is that it would normally make sense for a large volume to have a large impact on price. So if a small volume has that effect, it Is possibly indicative of the MM's anticipating a big demand coming, and trying to get peoples stop losses triggered so that they can meet the demand and make good profits.
few late trades showing aS USAUL
Re: Must be getting close GPback: what is the logic behind your suggestion that the drop is a good sign?
Must be getting close I'm thinking the drop is a good sign (on low volume). Best of luck. Don't forget 800p at best so don't sell short on the right result.

law Jakarta. The House of Representatives Commission VII deputy chairman, Syaikhul Islam, said some political parties were surprised by the reappointment of former transportation minister Ignasius Jonan as the new energy minister, and his predecessor Arcandra Tahar as his deputy."Jonan is a risk taker, but he has little experience in oil and gas. Arcandra is strong in this sector. He should have been made head of SKK Migas [the government's special task force for oil and gas business activities] replacing Amien Sunaryadi," Syaikhul said in Jakarta on Saturday (15/10).Syaikhul said President Joko Widodo's decision to assign both of them to lead the energy ministry "is beyond the prediction of many. But the president obviously trusts them."According to Syaikhul, Jonan's integrity and courage might be needed to dismantle deep-seated problems in the energy sector."His background as a banker is also expected to attract investors," he added.Meanwhile, Arcandra is expected push for reforms in the upstream sector, especially in cost recovery."I hope they can adjust quickly to their new positions. They need to complete the new Oil and Gas Law and the Mineral and Coal Law soon," Syaikhul said.
Re: update The saint always, I'm no mug though.
Re: update Good morning allGPback: I like your positivity but I would say that part of the buying in the dip was me topping up (although my purchase was bizarrely reported as a sale!) and I know diddly squat, so I'm not sure that taking positives from mugs buying is wise ...GLA
Re: update GENG. Have you sold out ? Have you noticed any dip this week has been bought up? I have. I'm wagering on a positive outcome. The Indonesians haven't thrown the towel in because of $1.5bn !! What's a couple more million in costs. Nothing in the grand scheme of things.
Re: update Looks like the Indonesians haven't thrown the towel in - getting a bit concerned now this is another Oxus.
Re: Predictions My apologies, I thought boards like this were to discuss shares, opinions, information etc. We'll all keep quiet now until the news breaks!
