Re: Matthew Clark Lets hope we have more success with Matthew Clark than Conviviality......
Matthew Clark There was a report in the Sunday Times re this possibility but I did not think C&C would have the resources, obviously they are working alongside Inbev.I imagine Inbev & C&C are both creditors of Conviviality retail.I am a shareholder here since end of last year.
Decent Value? With much of C&C's income in £'s Irish Investors have seen a fall in earnings;together with the loss of distribution rights to AB Inbev products in UK have also hurt C&C in the short term.Although AB Inbevs distribution deal for C&C's products in England should bring benefits. However even taking this into account a forward PE of 13 & a divi yield approaching 5% seems value for a company in this sector with a good brand offer.I must admit I am not totally convinced by the logic of the Admiral Inns purchase but is fairly small in the sceme of things.
