Walk in the park That was a very easy 5-1. When Celtic are motoring later in season 7-0 is on the cards.Lovely.
The New firm First League game of the New Firm tomorrow . I wonder who will win. Hopefully football and entertainment will win. Or in other words Glasgow Celtic 1888.
Man in the Middle I see the man in the middle is Celtic's favourite referee, Willie Colum. I've already seen posts from Celtic fans claiming its a conspiracy, and how it will be his fault if Rangers win. Its hilarious really.Game prediction, 3-0 or 3-1 to Celtic, Rangers aren't at the level they should be yet and are simply a work in progress. Can also see Barton getting sent off during the game as he will undoubtedly be targeted all day long. The first few minutes will see him getting hit hard as the ref is unlikely to show a red card so early on in the game so Brown will no doubt take advantage of that fact.
Re: good luck Celtic ...fao terribletim Don't think we need your " good-luck " wishes terribletim...Your Hoon-goons only just held Killie to a 1-1 draw last night ... while we Celts won 4-1 against the second-best team in the SPL today. One point clear with a game in handAnd Celts got a multi - £m marquee Euro fixture v Barca coming up ... While you goons / Ragers only got a trip to Paradise to look forward to, coming up fast... I can see & hear the quivering bottom-lips of the 'gers mobs and duff players already ... .. but thanks again for your "good luck Celtic" headline terribletimIt must be hard & shameful to think that your mob can only hope to prosper or gain advantage if Celts exhaust themselves in Europe ...... and after all, I read that all the other top Scots clubs gain to profit by £200K by virtue of Celts Euro qualification ... that paltry sum could be " Manna-from-Heaven" for several Pauper clubs ... like the RagersHa -ha ... ha-ha-ha- I just can't get enough ...Hail hail
Re: good luck Celtic 3 more massive Euro nights at Paradise to look forward to ... while our neighbours across the city watch on in envy - like impoverished kids with their blue noses pressed up against the toy shop window.terribletim ... Celts may not win (m)any ... but we'd still rather be in there playing amongst the big boys ...... and, oh yea ... no gigantic long journeys over Europe to negotiate ... so the impact on our domestic dominance should not be unduly interrupted ... so no joy there, saddo. Despite your feeble hopesLolGJ
Re: good luck Celtic Better result: sevco fans scrambling trying to find negatives in champions league and 22m. Celtic fans delighted to have those champions league games. You should be grateful. Celtic have just earned sevco around 250k. More than the lying king has put into sevco.
Re: good luck Celtic good result Hapoel 2 hopeless 0
Re: Happy Days coming to Paradise ... been to a few games Jimmie and enjoyed it. Not bad to the Tommy Burns team yet but getting there.Done the huddle with my son last week at the 5-2 game. A moment which will live long in my memory banks. Not my footage below but it was on the night.[link]
Re: Happy Days coming to Paradise ... Lol you said this last year
Happy Days coming to Paradise ... I can feel it .. I can see it ... despite that sad 'hun-poster terribletims " good luck Celtic " post on 3rd August ... a joker, a Ragers-loser, living in forlorn hope... hahaI like what I'm seeing over the last week or 2 under Brendan Rodgers ... best bits for me are the way he seems to have re-juvenated and instilled confidence into Rogic, Forrest & Brown ... and along with Sinclair, Dembele, Tierney, and Toure ... to me, this is looking like the birth of a decent Celtic squad / team that can maybe go places ... under a manager who looks more savvy than I initially thought he was - sorry, Brendan ... lol... as long as BR keeps the hopeless poison apples well away from the first team - Mackay-Steven, Johannson, Armstrong & Ambrose ... could be a nice season for Celtic.Hail hail ...
good luck Celtic A few long hard Euro journeys will help our cause
Re: Astana Good grief ! ... with that recent record and pedigree - Astana will be giving us a right old drubbing. Thanks a bundle for the pre-warning and highlighting it popes .. lolAt least we should move on early from the ECL and join all the other pub teams in the Municipal public Parks and recreation grounds in the early stages of the Europa League. So-called " shock defeats " are slightly less conspicuous or embarrassing in that competition .On the other hand .... maybe pigs might fly, and we somehow manage to overcome Astana ...What a mess ...
Astana Last year Benfica, Atletico Madrid and Galatasaray all paid Astana a visit in the Champions League. None of these teams got a win. They can score goals and have won their League in the past two seasons. Astana are a tough test and are arguably better than Celtic. I don't think Celtic will progress past this team. Celtic needed to strengthen and as usual have not done so. Its still RDs team and they are spineless when it comes to a challenge.Fingers crossed I'm wrong.
Re: Red Imps humbled - - - ( ? ) I was at the game. The job was done in the first half. To their credit red Imps never at any stage gave up. It was a comfortable win against part timers who had had a full professional attitude.Dembele looked slow, overweight and injured. He does not moved well and had poor control. Two good chances in one minute and fluffed it. My snap judgement is he is another in a long line of poor strikers. Played two games against Red Imps and no goals says a lot.
Red Imps humbled - - - ( ? ) ... or so the tv commentators suggested. But I am not so convinced. Yes, a 3-0 result looks comfortable on paper. But a disorganised and shambolic dodgy defence tonite could easily have gifted these Imps at least one goal .... and if they had got the momentum of that one goal .... I shudder to think how Celts could easily have crumbled With the prospect of a horrible trip to Kasaghstan in next round ... these Euro adventures of Celtic are now becoming a nightmare experience, rather than the good old days, when we had decent players who would sweat their blood and give us a fighting chance against any opposition. I feel sorry for Brendan Rodgers - in my view, with one or 2 or a small few exceptions, I think this squad that he has inherited are mainly a bunch of duffers. I will not be one bit surprised if we exit all Euro competitions in shameful ignomany long before Christmas. And before anyone says ... " there goes Prophet of Doom gimmiejimmy again - on another rant " ... I am first to applaud good performances. Just can't see this bunch obliging. They were poor players before Rodgers arrived. And whatever he does, they will still be poor players ... all imo. .. End of rantLolGJ
