Re: I'm back! Or, how about this one ... [link]
Re: I'm back! Ahh .. nttg ... such a joy to have you back ..... Lol.Your predictions look to be very much in line with my own thoughts for the coming season It's also a sure thing re my rants about the Ragers, ha-ha. They will continue in the same vein... and no doubt so will your own snipes and digs at all things Celtic. Lets face it - we just don't like each other much....GJ
Re: I'm back! Welcome back. Hope you enjoy the new season in the crumble dome. I would suggest purchasing one of these for the protection of your actual dome. [link]
I'm back! Haven't looked in here for over a year and I see the 3rd post I read is the obsessed gimme jimmie is positing anti rangers guff , this time about a man who clearly has mental health issues and a drink problem which is only going to end one way. I thought there would've more posts about the appt of Rodgers as manager or the Red Imps result but it looks like this board has died a bit of a death. My predictions for this year, Rangers to finish in top 5 of SPL, Celtic to win the SPL again, Celtic to get through qualifying stages of UEFA cup, and fail miserably in league stage, gimme Jimmie to continue posts his angry rants about all things Rangers related, or Ragers' as he likes to call them which is quite ironic really. I'll pop back in now and then to say hello, bye for now
Celtics shame Again. I take it back. I thought the squad was not bad just needed a manager and a few players. Clearly they are poor. BR has a job on his hands. It will take a couple of seasons at least to clear about 25 of these players out. Season tickets all but sold out with no real signings is a joke.Half that team were at their day job today.Pulled on their kit after a shift and match a team of so called pros. Cant even call this a one off. It looked like east Kilbride all over again.
Scotland's Shame ...again They don't even need to be present at Ibro - Pox any more ... the dregs and 'heroes' of the Shame continue to disgrace the name and perpetuate the dark reputation of the Ragers and all they stand for ...[link] their historical 'culture' and so-called 'heritage' continues to disgrace us all, as manifested by this brainless Neanderthal buffoon ... regarded as a modern-times 'hero' at toxic Ibrox ... out-dated, and outlawed by modern society ...... but they are blind, carry no shame, and much less wit ...Shame ...
Job done It wasn't pretty this season but that's the job done. Champions again. A good few Irish pubs were visited yesterday by myself. Plenty of refreshments were had. [link]
Re: Deila's gone ..... so who's next ? Warburton -- YessssssssssssssssWhoever Celtic appoint as their new manager, he will almost certainly be someone who has more nous and experience of higher League football than Mark Warburton ( Mark who ... ? .. haha )Warburton the player - spent his career on loan, never got higher than English non- League football.Warburton the 'manager' - never got a sniff at a job in England for any higher division clubWarburton the academic - worked as an office boy in the City of London at a currency-dealing firmNext season - Warburton v a new Celtic manager .... bring it on ................. YessssssssssssSix ( yes, 6 .. ) in a rowHail Hail
Re: Deila's gone ..... so who's next ? Lambo--Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Re: Deila's gone ..... so who's next ? Looks like Lambert...[link]
Re: Deila's gone ..... so who's next ? With a competent manager I maintain Celtic will win the league next year in a far more comfortable fashion than this year. Some players have shown a lack of professionalism and chucked it under RD. First thing the new manger should do is clear out the ring leaders. The current situation is similar to Paul Le Guen at the old Rangers(dead). Some players at the time chucked it for him also. RD sat at that press conference last week saying he signed every player and he was resigning and not sacked.Paul Le Guen resigned and never took a penny from old Rangers(dead). Lets see what RD takes for resigning. Call me cynical but I'm going to guess it's a full years wages in accordance with his rolling contract. Otherwise known as sacked and contract paid up in full.
Re: Deila's gone ..... so who's next ? and now losing to mighty livi...........not good...
Re: Deila's gone ..... so who's next ? What is LOL is sevco thought they were world beaters just because they managed to take Celtic out on penalties under the guidance of a total lame duck manager. That fantasy lasted two minutes before being well humped by Hibs and held to 1-1 on big party by relegation fodder that s Alloa. LOL indeed.
Re: Deila's gone ..... so who's next ? lol some of the duds being mentioned......
Deila's gone ..... so who's next ? I've seen the list of "Bookies favourites" on the Daily Record. Here's my take on it ...Neill Lennon, Martin O'Neill and Gordon Strachan ...each of them have been there, done it all, won the trophies, got the T-shirts .... no need for any of them to risk blotting their glowing Celtic CV's. All of us at Celtic thank them very much for their great achievements, and all the happy memories Roy Keane .... please don't even think about it Lawwell ... great player, but zero-rating so far as a manager / coach / team-motivator .... also, no signs that he has yet acquired any man-management or communication skills with team players. Permanently angry and explosive. Nobody in any job, or any walk of life wants a manager like that ... therefor they fail to perform to the best of their capabilities.Brendan Rodgers .... no, Mr Lawwell, please count out this guy .... an average managerial career in lower or non-League English football. Not a success at Liverpool over 3 years. Probably a very nice guy, but so is Bertie Auld - neither qualify for the job, in my opinion ... lolDavid Moyes ..... no - no ... please, please, heartfelt please Mr Lawwell ... don't pick this guy - another nice enough man, but one who has presided over Everton for umpteen years. Umpteen years where they have been one of the most boring, uninteresting and unattractive teams in the EPL. Survival in the EPL appears to have been their ultimate ambition for a decade ... David Moyes delivered that low ambition. Not the man to excite me or I dare say, many other Celtic fans. Henrik Larsson .... no way, don't shove Henrik into the SPFL managerial - furnace, at least for maybe a year or 2 - until we see how he handles his managers job in Sweden ... his myth and legendary Celtic status should not be risked via a premature sentimental emotional return to Parkhead as manager.Alan Stubbs ..... Pllleeease Mr Lawelll - don't be tempted if this guy applies for the job.Anyone who has read the sorry Hibernian history of spineless under-achievement and failure in the crucial games year in - year out ....deserves a lot of genuine sympathy. Alan Stubbs made himself sound a bit loud & silly when he virtually promised Hibs fans the Holy Grail .... only to succumb in true Hibs style & history ... to a drastic collapse and the all-too-familiar regular last 2 months-of-the-season collapse.Alan Stubbs as new Celtic manager .. ? ... holy-jeez ... I hope not.OK .... I've rubbished all the Daily Record " New-Celtic-Manager-Quiz" contenders ( apart from some other overseas nobody whose name I can't recall ... I rubbish him as well, without even knowing who he is .. lol ).... so now I will stick my neck out .... bearing in mind the £millionaire Shylocks and Scrooges at the Celtic top table will only be looking at cheaper options ......... how about Caley Thistle's John Hughes ... ? .... Yogi is a True-Dark-Blue passionate Scot, an ex-Celt who knows his way around Scottish football, and guided Caley Thistle to win the Scottish Cup last year, against all the odds. There wasn't a nicer video clip in all the UK football playbacks last season than Yogi and his 2 delightful daughters taking the applause and cheers for Yogi and Caley on the Cup Final pitch ... I just loved it ... As a manager with cheap resources, Yogi John Hughes may not be capable of taking Celtic to progress very far in Europe ... but why should we beat ourselves up about that ? ... the only teams in Europe Champions League that are going to get anywhere are the £Multi-million clubs .... so why not lets just forget about the ECL ...? .... me and no doubt many Celts fans will be happy enough to stuffthe'uns 4 times a season ... and stretch out for the 10-in-a-row Lawwell and the BoD need to finally realise that success in Europe is not going to come our way without investing £multi-millions.So, forget it folks ... forget Europe .... get John Yogi Hughes in ... and he will do the
