Eureka! Finally a deep well comes in! Deep Well A5 Status The previously announced side-track has been drilled and completed without incident using a 4-1/2 inch pre-perforated liner followed by running 3-1/2 inch tubing On 21 October 2017 the well was opened for clean-up purposes. The initial flow rates were approximately 3,500 bopd using a 11 mm choke. The well flowed without interruption for 4 hours and without artificial stimulation before it was shut in pending the arrival on site of additional high pressure testing equipment. The well-head pressure varied from 160 to 300 bar. The pressure build-up dynamics indicate an excellent reservoir quality. The current shut-in pressure is 470 bar (6,887 psi). The high well-head pressure and the good presence of rich gases such as butane and pentane also indicate lighter and more valuable oil compared to our shallow wells. The interval tested is limestone and extends 85 meters in height between depths 4,335 meters and 4,420 meters. We look forward to updating the market further on the progress of this well in due course.

Thanks for periodically keeping me up to speed.Great update - so many positives now - after a seemingly long wait. RNS is very pleasant reading for at least one LTH and will surely make an attractive entry point for those not already in. Great start for the 'rebrand'. Anticipating a move to new level over the coming months and again heading for the change in production license ('dividends'? Yes please)Just the start, hence a 'strong buy' from me.

Re: Interim Results out Share price up by 2p today to 9.25p a 27% rise. Oil price rising, Caspian oil production rising, more revenue flowing in. When well 146 starts producing and production rises to over 4000 bpd fair value around 12p. If deep well A5 starts to produce over 2000 bpd and well 801 contributes pending the workover we are into the 20s. Still currently a little undervalued at 9.25pIMHO

Interim Results out See todays RNS above under news tab. A more upbeat and confident report. Shallow well 145 a success. Great to see production now in excess of 3400 bpd. The sidetrack at A5 is on course to complete soon so expect news end of October/beginning of November. There is the prospect of over 2000 bpd from A5, so production in excess of 5000 bpd by end of 2017 could happen. The Chairman comments that Caspian could become a medium sized oil producer over time and paying dividends.Looking undervalued at 7.125p IMHO
