Calming the nerves Well, we needed some sort of statement from the company as the share price touched 10p a few days ago! And we've got it. And it's positive. Sensible approach to cost base, reviewing new site options and cash equivalent to 57p per share. No Wonder we've had a bounce this morning. Let's hope we've finally reversed the trend and see the share price move to a level that values the company more realistically. As ever GLA involved here
Re: Dropping like a stone today Its another scam supported by those nice young chaps in the city only concerned with their commissions and not with due diligence. Investor's Chronicle should hang their head in shame promoting this and NBU; don't they even do some basic checks that the shops and products exist!!
Re: Dropping like a stone today We are due a trading update before the end of February let's see what that brings instead of talking this one down.
Re: Dropping like a stone today At least they have spent your money wisely (sorry, couldn't resist!)
Dropping like a stone today ...on no (official) news. I'd say somethings afoot, and more than 12 inches!I got part-burned on this one and Naibu Global. Both seem to be legalised scams sanctioned by the city of London. I expect someone is drinking champagne, taking drugs, and in the company of a prostitute with my original investment money! C'est la vie. Older and wiser.
Re: positive article this has been on the cards for a long time. just too good to be true. I have been saying for a year now
Re: Naibu Global suspended Yes I always felt the scrip dividend on more generous terms than the cash and the strange spin about the chairman not taking the scrip option i.e. he is taking cash out, sounded fishy. Have sold out here, sadly at a loss. I expect my NBU are worthless now. Thank you very much Investor's Chronicle and Simon Thompson especially.
Re: Naibu Global suspended Sorry that was supposed to be a STRONG SELL.
Re: Naibu Global suspended Nothing is proven yet but this does not look good. Both these companies use scrip dividend that I always thought was odd. Not knowing much about scrip dividends I found this says With a Scrip dividend, new shares are issued by the company, which can be acquired by investors instead of a cash dividend paymentIts not a real dividend, in that cash is not used to pay the dividend. Unless I am mistaken.A sad day for the Chinese who have lost all honour . Sell before the weekend.
Naibu Global suspended Get out while you can. This one is looking very similar.
If it looks too good Got in and out of Camkids when it was around 60p. Keep an eye on it but not tempted to reinvest yet. Risks set out in Telegraph. [link]

Re: 17.3% yield Put a toe in the water here a couple of weeks back. Looks a smart outfit with decent products and a sense of purpose. Not sure about 2/3rds ownership still with founder but if expansion plans are anywhere near realised he may reduce his stake to raise capital? Doubt dividend will be maintained at present level unless profits improve markedly. No problem with potential size of market - surely there has to be another ASOS out there somewhere!!!Longer term for me - will add if indications are positive.
Re: 17.3% yield Looks to good to be true!!!. Let's hope were not the next Fortune Oil where we' get taken out on the cheap.
