Directors Well thats a slight positive some buying ,lot of stocks churning no where
Re: Good Value. The div is nearly 7% at these levels and who would rule out a takeover or merger,Good Value alright m8
Good Value. I bought N Brown earlier this month as a pick for my 2018 ISA;along with Headlam & City Pub Group,as I felt it was very oversold.I do not think we will see a return to previous share price level as growth is likely to be modest and hard won but I think at around the present price level it is a good value proposition.
Upgrade and results HSBC today upgrades its investment rating on Brown (N) Group PLC (LON:BWNG) to buy (from hold) and raised its price target to 290p (from 280p).Results not to bad,Simply B once again is the stand out performer,no wonder with obesity on the rise. What ever happened to all the slim chics without attitude?I will b simply holding until I see much more upside from here.........
Re: BWNG " I have a target of £1.70 " Ditto. I sold at 261. Looks like I got this one right. Quite a few shares I'm watching haven't yet reached their pretty obvious downtargets, hence I'm expecting a second pull back in the markets. Might be wrong of course...
BWNG Maybe selling at this time will turn out to be right.I have a target of £1.70 and then may buy more. The div is appealing if maintained at around 7.50%.It is a volatile stock to say the least, but having just had its best ever Christmas and down around 40% in 3 weeks look`s overdone, weak buy and hope for better news in April..............
Re: BWNG year end 'is' not 'in'
Re: BWNG year end I sold a while back. BON in a good alternative.
Re: BWNG year end Had enough. . . . not enough of my life left.Sold them all.
NEW ARTICLE: N Brown dives, but big dividend is safe "A record-breaking Christmas came at a price for home shopping retailer LSE:BWNG:N Brown and its investors today, with shares pummelled over weaker than expected margins.Even though product revenues surged 2.7% in the 18 weeks to January 6, the ..."[link]
Re: Hold The divs around 6% Zacchaeus ,that should be reason enough to hold in this environment.I like how the power range numbers are up and the breaking into America part.Next stop unless something dramatic happens is the prelims in 26th April.................
Re: Hold I agree. Trading statement looks good. I think a lot of short term money had gone into the stock and so the fall on results day is traditional as per Boohoo and Just Eat. It is on my radar to buy. I held in the past.
Re: Hold Well having gone through the trading statement I don`t get a fall as big as this currently down 15%ish today. If things continue as they are then the div should be safe, for now its a hold hoping things improve in the next season...........
