Anyone know why the share price is so strong? I am heavily long Brammer, but can't see any reason for the recent share price strength. Anyone know what is going on?
Re: update The volume traded on Brammer in the last couple of days has been ten times normal, and another 714k shares purchased first thing this morning. Wish I had bought more a few weeks ago someone seems to like this company.
Re: update Depends how long a view you are going to take!Weakness in oil, aviation & steel industry and maybe automotive parts suppliers if VW situation continues........Still if you bought @ 150p things have improved in the last hour for now at least!
Re: update might appeal at 92p..
update Haven't had chance to look at update in any detail. Feels like 150 is reasonable target to buy. I didn't see this getting anywhere near this level - they remain well managed and will make the best of the new marketplace. Good job they raised money at 475! This market is merciless - good long term opportunity for the brave...

Re: Why the 18.7% drop in SP? trading in shares is very thin and price will go down further than is warranted. range remains 250-400 and needs to go lower to become compelling. very disappointing trading update and improvement will take a year. so patience will be needed - good well managed company but need to deliver to maintain current rating.
Re: Why the 18.7% drop in SP? The interim results were announced, not good reading however the second half will be much better than the first so the price will recover during the year with a tick up when the H1 results are announced.
Why the 18.7% drop in SP? Does anyone know why there was an 18.7% drop in Brammer share price on Friday?

Re: Sell Good call on weak market for this share - didnt see it getting there and just shows how thin this can be. With some of their markets looking weak and currency translation pressures to continue, think that £4 is as far as it can go for the moment. Acquisitions will continue and they have money raised at £4.75 to spend. Share will respond well if there is any sustained pick up in demand - Hold at 350p and buy on weakness.
