Re: Interesting Probably going to be two weeks before Bwin announce what they intend to do, then the other parties react to that and change their bids or pull out so this is going to rumble on for quite some time.
Interesting Takeover on the go, so price goes in which direction?!No wonder I have grey hair and drink....please put me out of my misery soon.
Volumes at end Getting a bit of a flurry as positions taken ahead of tomorrow possibly. Bit of news leaked out?
Re: AGM Tomorrow Have we been here before? Like the Grand Old Duke of York - up to the top of the hill and down (yet) again.Cheers, RAC
AGM Tomorrow Probably get some bland statement in line with others and probably a bit of profit taking today!Taken 6 months to get to here but don't think market will allow it to drift on without resolution.
Re: Possible settlement figures! Good review and even if no deal is done now, it will happen at some point in time. BWIN will not buy, it will be bought as they have made such mess of Party 'merger'.
Possible settlement figures! Excellent synopsis with viable final settlement ballpark figures![link]
Re: Amaya "That's 1.5 Euros, not £s."OOOPS, Schoolboy error - LOL! - Thanks for confirming that. Still - £1.30 can't be bad - an opportunity to bale out and recover some more of my original losses.....JC
Re: Amaya Even still, up from where we are now I think.
Re: Amaya That's 1.5 Euros, not £s.
Re: Amaya "GVC Holdings and Canadian company Amaya Gaming have teamed-up for a 1.5bn bid to break-up bwin.party digital entertainment, in an attempt to see-off an approach from rival bidder 888 Holdings"[link] Does that not equate to £1.82 per share given the number of shares in issue?JC
Re: Amaya You and me both JC
Re: Amaya Lost an arm and a leg on these back in 2006 and have since then been trading to recover a few bob. Last punt however was a long position at 112p. Hopefully we'll see a bid firmed up at 130p-140p.I'll be sooooo glad to be out of this stock once and for allGLAJC
