Re: Todays Upgrade - Doubling Resource n... Shows what kind of market where in. In 2 years we've gone from 180m to 360m of reserves yet the SP has headed south.I do wonder if Noble were sniffing around and tried a low ball (Argos type) offer but BOR management knew what they had.Short term alot relies on Humpback...... but I recon we'll get carried up by the FOGL drill next month.
Re: Todays Upgrade - Doubling Resource numbers > without comment 2012 Interim Report: 130 to 250m barrels .. Made a gas condensate discovery with recoverable liquids in the range 130 to 250m barrels..2012 Annual report recoverable resource of 130 to 250m barrels. .. Our current view of the mid case is 200m barrels. Recent geophysical analysis suggests that appraisal drilling on Darwin West could lead to the upward revision of these numbers 2014 Interim Report: condensate of 263 million barrels new base case estimate of wet gas in place of 2.6 tcf and the recovered condensate of 263 million barrels Technical Update 17 June 2014: recoverable condensate of 263 million barrels ..new base case estimate of recoverable condensate of 263 million barrels is of course dependent on successful appraisal wells. However, this resource assessment only includes the reservoir interval encountered in the discovery well on Darwin East. Our seismic interpretation indicates that Darwin West is structurally higher than Darwin East and that two additional potential reservoir intervals below the main reservoir, each displaying amplitude conformance to structure, may be encounteredFinal results 30 March 2015 condensate is 263 million barrels Our current estimate of the most likely recoverable volume of condensate is 263 million barrels but, as previously stated, this could increase significantly following further successful drilling 14 May 2015 Sub-surface Evaluation and Resource Upgrade: 360 million barrels of recoverable condensate The revised best estimate (P50) un-risked estimate for the combined Darwin East and Darwin West structures, incorporating all proven and potential reservoirs, is 360 million barrels of recoverable condensate...; details expected soon
Re: Todays Upgrade Is the presentation available yet?
Re: Todays Upgrade In the short term, not much really. Resource upgrade is ok on paper, but unless you can do something with it, there isn't much to look forward to in the short term. Farm-out and drill are the two key things that currently matter.--The city have some numbers now ... will see if this breaks 5p once the 10% sellers have gone.

Farm-out and drill are the two key things that currently matter................This new info should help get a better/fairer deal when it comes to sitting down with potential partners.Obviously a lot of work is going on in the background.Looking forward to seeing the presentation, and i think the liklihood of joining thiscampaign has now increased.
Re: Todays Upgrade I may be an ignoramus but it would help if the RNS was in plain English rather than technical gobblykook.

Todays Upgrade Anyone have any idea of what todays RNS will mean? How much of an upgrade is it?

Re: Interesting day That's the article! Many thanks TFM!!
Re: Interesting day Hi poodle,I think the article you're referring to is this one by Bruce Farrer here:[link] Pages labelled 80-83. There's not a huge amount of new information but an interesting read nonetheless, including a tip of the hat to the oil leg theory at Darwin.I agree with your thoughts and have been accumulating over the past few months. As you say, it's a very long-term buy but with a more favourable outlook on the oil price and several hundred million barrels of condensate and significant upside, you'd think the sp has the potential for decent returns if you're willing to hold.BOR are one of the biggest losers in the ARG deal imo - I had very much hoped Scharnhorst North was to be the second SFB well (despite it's higher cost to FOGL than Hersilia), with the aim of enticing someone to sign on the dotted line with BOR!According to Harry Dobson's Final Results spiel on the 30th March, "we plan to report to shareholders on the first phase of our prospect evaluation in the area surrounding Darwin in the very near future." A month on from that statement and one can only hope their analysis arrives sooner than a reply to an investor query... i.e. never.Cheers,
Re: Interesting day "their short term fate and ability to strike a good deal with a partner will be dictated by others results currently."Very true, though I'm also keeping an eye out for the outcome of Border's 3D seismic analysis. I wonder if they'll do a CPR?
Re: Interesting day Like you I believe there is excellent potential for this share and it is a long term hold as you say. I've been in this for a number of years and heavily under water. But I believe we will see this recover and with already a condensate/light crude find under their belt and decent acreage they are not dead yet. However their short term fate and ability to strike a good deal with a partner will be dictated by others results currently.
