Re: Something is brewing What makes you say that? With any new start up something has to brew!!Any rise welcomed.
Something is brewing And it's not tea!
Back in shrewd. I think that buy at 3.40 is a VERY good entry price.Well done it makes my 6p look expensive. But for how long?
Re: Back in a - best of luck with you trading - always good to buy low and sell high! Obvious, but many do the opposite. I still feel it may be a long haul, but I assume you will trade a decent jump.
Back in Back in at 3.40p so was I right or was I right to wait? Will see. Boom needs to revamp and upgrade app to make it more 'Hookable' .Perhaps it is a take over target at this price as can be bought out around issue price after all the ground work done for free! SKY maybe or even BBC! Worth a small punt now imho. Dyor.
Re: Simon Cole replacement? All very old news. The shares sold have all been mopped up weeks ago, not least by Mr Candy amongst others.
Re: Simon Cole replacement? Probably no one. See [link] old financial supporter throwing towel in as sees funds can be better used elsewhere. Should have done it before now like some of us here did, sorry to say. Dyor.
Re: KPI AlecroTech start ups are the ultimate gamble IMOThey can easily swallow up funds at an alarming rate and may indeed go bust or get taken over for small change, but when they hit the spot they can multi bag like crazySo i am in BOOM and some other techy start ups hoping one or two hit the jackpot and then i won't mind the others failingI think 4.25 should have been your entry point, i for one do not see the sp falling there again, but if i am wrong and it does then i will top up and average downGood luck with your investmentsA
Re: KPI Didn't buy back earlier when sp was 4.25 p and not regretting it yet as may be revisited. Doubt any news coming soon that will make much of a difference. U.S. Venture gone quiet. App needs a rethink in my view as lacking something and not as easy to use as could be. Loath that you cannot continue listening to a selection while browsing other channels. Needs two windows so you can switch over - listening one and scrolling one. Wonder sometimes if folks know what it's really doing. Is it just flying-a-hypekite to pull in gung-ho investors' dosh and have fun time spending it? Not saying it is but too much of this going on in tech start-ups.
Re: KPI Very positive rns this morning, surely we are in for a blue day...
KPI Imminent news on KPI data for 3rd Qtr. plus other stuff?
Coming back up On no news today, happy days
Re: Brand quits Brand issue is way out of date. He was contracted for 12 podcasts running until end April and proved he had little appeal evidenced by listens which averaged 120k per show. Boom has put much effort into content and there are better media shows now on the app. The Cumulus contract is very important to both parties. Cumulus has 200+ stations in USA and is being dragged into the digital world by the Boom platform. Many stations are now available on Boom App. Boom need the easier access to advertising revenue offered by the radio stations. Corporate news would be welcome and I'm sure high on the agenda of management. End of August or beginning of September may see some developments in my opinion. I wouldn't like to advise on price but I would mention I like many have an average cost higher than the present market. I bought at flotation and added on the way up and the way down. So I'm a brilliant judge!!
Re: Brand quits a - today the SP nearly hit the bottom of the trading channel, which is around 3.45p (it went as low as 3.53p (so far)). Unfortunately the chart has been pretty gloomy since the October '14 peak! Hard to tell whether the SP can make much progress if markets remain in a downtrend for a while - I suspect not.Interesting that the SP was peaking when markets were sharply correcting in October, but alas there has been little news to support the SP/sentiment since. There may well be a market bounce once the immediate blood letting abates, but my feeling is that it wont be long before the downtrend pick up again! ARI am mostly in cash at the mo, and not rushing back in to bag 'bargains' as it is probably best to wait for events to become much clearer - its been a long time acoming this correction!
He may not have quitted Boom may have decided he was not good enough for the 'brand'ahemIf you pardon the pun.
