Re: Suspension!!!!! lambrini Where's the "BANG ON" girl now.Is she goin to call bottom on the present escapade????
Lowest price for ever? At £2.60 this looks oversold. I have just bought. I hope I am right! It was over £3.00 on Monday- results did not look that bad to me.
Re: Suspension!!!!! lambrini ..u once again lying....(naughtie boy)...---------- ---------- -lambriniMay I have the courtesy of an apology for the unfounded accusation of being called a liar?As I said before, calling someone a liar is unpleasant. You seem to think that it is acceptable to throw the abusive term around - it is not.Perhaps you can make the appropriate amends?
Re: Check the terms carefully I read on some sites ex div ystrday..however this mornings price suggested it wasnt?? ---------- ---------- ----lambriniSome sites? What, like the London Stock Exchange website?Or even Santander's very own website?Probably enough evidence for most people.Strange that you can predict bnc's sp months in advance...yet you can't find the xd date.
In other news Santander SP falls 6% in 2 days! But we have our dividend!
Re: Check the terms carefully prob the worst share to get div info..I read on some sites ex div ystrday..however this mornings price suggested it wasnt??
Re: Check the terms carefully Yes it does, thank you for the info El Kel. Although even that is not very clear because they have the pay day the same as the XD day and the Aug 2015 XD is shown as 2 days after the pay day.Clearly their communications to shareholders leaves a lot to be desired as they can't even be bothered to update their own Financial Calendar.CheersGatherer
Re: Check the terms carefully According to Santander's Financial Calendar on their website the February dividend is still TBC.---------- --------Hello GathererThe Santander website is a mass of pdfs and verbose blather.I always struggle to find the xd info and usually use other sites to assist, eg the LSE site;[link] the current interim xd date is there amongst the sprawling bnc site.Look at this link, go to the table which is part way down and under the 2015 column on the bottom line, it states: "Ex-dividend Date 01/02/2016".[link]

Re: Check the terms carefully anyone know when this goes ex div..??---------- -------lambriniuch a basic beginners' question for someone of your immense financial acumen. It is xd today.
Re: Check the terms carefully anyone know when this goes ex div..??
Check the terms carefully With this new account that offers you % on current account balances, check the terms & conditions VERY carefully. As the saying goes if it appears to good to be true it probably is. If you check these terms & conditions with many of these new type accounts the banks entice you away from old accounts but change the terms & conditions. One of the terms, if the bank was to be insolvent, derivative contracts come first. So basically you sign up to one of these new current accounts you are putting your deposit at enormous risk.Don´t forget too the new EU bail in act that went into effect in January 2016. Also Santander, has enormous exposure to the UK housing market. Now what could possibly go wrong. GET YOUR MONEY OUT!
Re: good entry point yet? regular dividend, ---------- ---------- ...yup, and going xd next Mon so today's sp dive is even more mystifying.Only tomorrow to make up my mind for a swift opportunistic purchase.
Re: good entry point yet? I must admit, I am a bit perplexed myself - good results, regular dividend, whats not to like- think market is just picky at the moment- any old excuse to drop price. In Brazil, yes and making profits but not as much profit as we could be if Brazils commodity economy was better. Pure BS.
Re: good entry point yet? Expectations good for tomorrow? ---------- ---Well, the results looked ok to me although the market today (sp down 5%) would seem to disagree...I'm close to making some buys but keeping a watch on whether Spain holds another election.
