Re: Interseting RNS Everyone to their own opinion fyoz, I respect yours, I would hope the sentiment from all posters on iii is mutual.I try to remain cautious while open-minded because I have had my fingers burnt by small cap euphoria in the past. I do agree that we are entering an interesting and I hope rewarding time. And Fortune is doing well, long may that continue. But to answer your main points:1. You consider that no value is currently attributed to Greenhills by the Market - but in reality neither of us knows if that is true or not. What I gather you are saying is that when the demerger does occur, BMN will at least stay at the pre-demerger price while Greenhills will have a significant value (3p or thereabouts). I hope so but I would remain more cautious than you.2. I believe you misunderstood what I was saying about a sub-1p opening price. That was not to denigrate AfriTin but rather to say that if the market considered it to be worth say 10% of the current BMN (giving a market cap of about £8 million) then its share price would be around the 1p mark. Most market traders require 20-30% spreads on such a miniscule share price - meaning that we would lose any profit just by trading. It would be better to roll (say) ten shares into one to encourage a higher initial share price and therefore a better spread.3. Vametco is the gem, agreed, which makes me think that now the Lemur cash has been pulled on to the company balance sheet, we may soon see Lemur leave the fold. We do not hear much about Lemur - which makes me suspicious about how well it is doing. I know Madagascar well, doing business there is not easy. Working with the Chinese is often even more risky.

Re: Interseting RNS EcologistTotally disagree with you. In my opinion there's no value attributed to tin at the moment, it's all Vametco, and undervalued at thatThe tin was originally meant to be sold off, and for that we would have received a dividend. An excellent researcher on LSE reckons it was worth around 3p per shareThis kind of news will make analysts take a closer look at BMN. Especially when the interims reveal the revenue Vametco is currently bringing inDo you seriously think that Fortune would demerger the tin if it is going to result in a sub 1p SP?. We are witnessing a master strategist at work here. He's been one step ahead of everyone so far. Look how he snagged us Lemur for very little dilution, and he got us Vametco by using their own stockpile of product and new output, to pay off the bridging loan. The man is an absolute genius, and I for one can't wait for the next leg of the journey

Re: Interseting RNS While agreeing that it will be beneficial to demerge the tin (Greenhill to be renamed AfriTin) side of the business; allowing management to concentrate more fully on retained minerals, I cannot agree with fyoz who said:"I'll get shares in another excellent company for free, what's not to like ..."Nothing is free in life, and in respect of the demerger of the tin business, the sp of BMN will likely, at least initially, be reduced by the value of Greenhills' shares. What will be interesting will be first, to see the respective values attributed to BMN and Afritin; second, whether the combined value of the two parts is greater than that of the initial parent; and third, whether BMN continues down the path of demerger to concentre on Vametco, and hive off Lemur. All I hope is that we do not end up with one (or eventually two if Lemur goes) companies with sub-1p share values and find ourselves with shares that we cannot trade without losing profits in enormous MM spreads.

Re: Interseting RNS The market simply isn't aware of what's going on with BMN. Analysts need numbers from interims or full year to crunch. Our last year showed a loss as it was just before we acquired Vametco. Things will wake up when the interims are published and they can see how much revenue we're generatingI like the tin demerger, I'll get shares in another excellent company for free, what's not to like . . .

Interseting RNS So they are demerging the Tin operations....The market seems ambivalent to it, but I suppose there are no details as of yet.

Only a matter of time......... Exciting times ahead!! With the increase in Vanadium prices and Fortune's confidence in the fact that there is likely to be a supply deficit for a few years to come (see his latest interview on proactive investors), brokers re-ratings, all we need is for a few ii's to start buying and this will look cheap at 30p, the price at which management options have been granted.

Re: back in Welcome back EcologistI think most people are on LSE. I had an initial Target of 10p, but given what's been happening and about to happen, I have upped my Target to 20p, maybe more if things go well on all the fronts.

back in I have been following BMN closely since I sold back in April. When I read that plans were afoot to go for an IPO of Greenhills - to realise value and also reduce management distraction, I considered it time to come back in; and I got an excellent price this morning. However, I did not think that I would be the only person in the room. What happened to everyone, off on vacation or to the LSE board?

Re: Big jump today... Good post HumBall. Been in since the 3p days and its the best share I have ever owned in decades of investing. Well into 3 figure profit now, stunning company with a lot further to go. Well done the Board and especially Fortune and the two Bros. Onward and upward

Re: Big jump today... ....Or recognise a good thing when you have it and buy on dips and hold for the long-term I've personally steadily increased my stake here on each level up as consistently positively news continues to be delivered for each aspect of the business. And with Nitrovan now trading at 52USD per kg (as per company tweet), we could have a company turning 25 million profit based on todays prices, todays production, and todays 26% ownership structure. The reality is that the over the reporting period the basket of vanadium products sold will be less than 52USD, but it could be more if the market continues it upward trajectory. Either way, a 200million + MCAP based purely on Vametco today looks perfectly achievable if the Vanadium market continues to be strong. And if de-bottlenecking increases production as planned to 3,340 tonnes, with all-in production costs of 17USD/ kg, the company could be generating 30 million USD profit pre tax - whatever PE ration you may expect, the upside is significant. And if the company renegotiates it's deal with Yellow Dragon to take on a larger stake at some point? Pure speculation there, but the point is this speculation isn't even required to make the numbers look extremely exciting. And none of this includes any value for the tin / lithium projects that could be producing this year, the coal project in Madagascar, Mokopane vanadium, Brits vanadium, or any bushveld energy contracts. The tin / coal / BE sections of the business in particular could be adding substantially to the balance sheet quite easily in the next 24 months. The stars are aligning for this company. Virtually debt free, and producing in one of the best vanadium environments for decades. Sit back, wait for the interim figures, and see the plan across the business unfold

Big jump today... Must be some news in the offing, remember buy on rumour sell on News...

Re: So what now? I would hope we get an update on the first quarter of Vametco production in the year ending Feb 2017 annual report which should be issued end of August, so I'm patiently waiting until then. In the meantime we could get Tin, Coal or Bushveld Energy news. Given the speed that things seem to happen in the mining industry it's difficult to predict.
