Re: Price holding up Yes - we seem to have recovered the losses due to the dilution, and once we break the 14p resistance level this should will hopefully go up significantly. The new NED appointment might result in more institutional or high net worth investors, creating more interest in the share. This company looks as though its going to be a big fish amongst the AIM minnows
Re: Price holding up 20p on Q1 results.
Price holding up GIven the discount on the placing it is very encouraging that the SP is holding up very well. Mr Market is happy so that's good news. Looks like we could well push on from here.
Re: Profit taking time? yes, I saw the "money for old rope" announcement - that was my last post. And I wonder how many of those new "long term" investors quickly took their profit; driving the sp down yesterday. Not bad work if you can get it but I wonder how many stop-losses got plundered.I am looking for a drawback on BMN in order to come back in. If the sp does keep increasing then that's sob's law and the funds will go elsewhere (likely to Hurricane).
Re: Profit taking time? I guess you've seen the RNS Ecologist - Dilution - however we have Institutional Investors on board, funds for (?), and Atlas cleared - so not completely painful. SP seems to be recovering a little. More fool to anyone who sold out in reaction to the RNS - this is, and always has been, a long play. Well, it is for me anyway - feel free to play this share how best it suits you.
Re: Profit taking time? Now I know why this just fell of the cliff:[link]
Re: Profit taking time? I most certainly did - but am a little sad for everyone still holding - this looks like it is going down as fast as it went up. My gut tells me back to 9p.Then I will use exactly the same amount of funds I received from selling to buy back in. I have done that successfully with FUM and TYM.
Re: Profit taking time? Did you top slice in the end - if so then it would have been a good call!
Re: Profit taking time? Each to there own, and it is a good strategy, however its possible you may be premature. You seem surprised by the re-rate Ecologist, however I see the re-rate as long overdue as the share price has been surpressed for a long time - due to Erongo selling (now cleared), and possible Atlas sales. We've had good news after good news, i.e. greater share of Vametco, increased Vanadium pricing, increased production, and yet the sahre price has barley shifted. Now it is re-rating to a more realistic valueI personally wouldn't sell out now as I think the buy back in price will be higher than now. That's just my personal opinion, and it is a difficult call.I also think if you sell some now it would be useful as it would provide some more float, albeit temporarily!
Re: Profit taking time? Not for me, despite being a three-bagger plus at this stage. I think the fundamentals and prospects indicate it being worth running with. Also, I'm watching it on IG in a spread betting account watchlist and it looks like demand for shares is holding up, though slower than earlier in the week; I don't have level 2 so can't see any orders that are queued.
Profit taking time? The run up over the last week or so has been fantastic; with little news apart the vanadium research note. We have seen a shift from 8.5p to 13.9p at the time of writing ... +60%?With AIM stocks I like to take profits when on offer and await slip backs to buy back in. This worked wonders last year with BMN and it is looking time to take profits again ....
Email from BMN... I emailed BMN and got this response below. So we will be getting a Quarterly update soon. From: "Chika Edeh" <[email protected]>To: <>Cc: <[email protected]>Subject: New message from Date: Thu, Mar 22, 2018 08:22Dear Mr Fisher,Thank you for your email and interest in Bushveld Minerals. As you correctly mentioned the CY17 Results will be released by the end of May.In addition, we will be releasing a Q1 Operational update next month, which provides an update on progress made by the organisation over the quarter. We believe the outperformance of our share price is driven by the fact that Atlas currently does not hold any Bushveld shares as these were taken by an investor (visible on Bloomberg), coupled with the Vanadium price currently trading at ~US$70/KgV.Please let me know if you have any additional questions.Kind regards, ChikaFrom: Bushveld Minerals [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 20 March 2018 145To: [email protected]: New message from HiI have been very impressed that the SP has drastically moved from 8p to 12.5p over the past week. I understand that there are lots happening and 2018 is going to be a pivotal year and with the improvement in price of Vanadium, then it is no surprise the SP has moved, but with such a large movement in a short space of time and no RNS are we expecting some news soon? I know results are due soon, but is there some regulatory news soon?
