Re: Great news Hasn't this 'Great News' been in the public domain since the end of August?

Re: Numberbiter are you still Thank you, Leftback, I support what you say; you describe this share perfectly. You are speculating what reserves the company might have and, if they are successful, what the market price of the ore might be. It is a massive gamble because assuming your mathematics are correct and the company are successful then the gain will be massive. But who knows? That is what speculation is all about.

Re: Numberbiter are you still Gents, it seems to me that investing is a mixture of mathematics, art, lie detection and fortune telling. There are few who can manage the last important element and so we 'speculate'. When buying a FTSE100 company the speculation is modest, when buying a new mining stock it is close to the casino.BKY is showing a net asset value of $48.47m but this assumes either nil or a tiny value to its ore body. It claims a measured and indicated ore body of 60m lbs of ore. It claims a contracted sales value of $40/lb and a production cost of $15/lb. My calculator shows that this means the ore body could be worth $1.5b+. Now we all know that the chances of this coming to pass is remote otherwise the shares would already be worth £5.80. All we are doing is throwing a dice to say at what level we want a ticket to try and win this lottery.I am happy to decide what to pay for the lottery ticket but if anyone sees a flaw in my very simple arithmetic, please let me know!

Re: Numberbiter are you still Shugg1e; you clearly missed the point, or you don't understand, which is even worse. It is a fact that shares are priced on the basis of future earnings coupled with potential growth and discounted for the time element. The higher the potential growth, the higher the share price. In simple terms a P/E of 8-10 indicates no growth, less that 8 indicates the market thinks there is a problem and profits will decline. A P/E of 11-20 indicates 'normal' growth while a number over 20 indicates impressive growth. When we get to a P/E of 100+ we are in the dot com type market where a crash in inevitable. When, as in this case, the company has NEVER made a profit and there is no evidence that it ever will, then the ONLY way to value the company is on the basis of its Balance Sheet. As I have said, (for non-profit organisations) when the price of a share exceeds its Balance Sheet valuation, the difference between the two is PURE SPECULATION. This of course, is different if a company makes a profit. If in such cases if the market price is greater than my valuation it simply means the 'market' believes that profit growth will be greater than my forecast, The market might be right, of course,Now, people buying this share at the current price might equally be proved right; the company may make a profit in the future, but regardless of this they are SPECULATING because there there is no hard evidence to support their belief.

Re: Numberbiter are you still lol what RubbishIf you applied you theory to all the shares on the LSE then the market would be over 50% below its current value.I dont think investing is for you stick to the granny bonds or building societys generous returns.

Re: Numberbiter are you still Well, you will all be pleased to know that I have revised my valuation upwards, in view of the fact that the company has raised some cash. The latest Balance Sheet (2017) has a valuation of $48,466,610. The number of shares in issue are 254,512,198 This means each share is worth 19.04 cents or 14.44 pence, You cannot value this company on future earnings, because they do not have any. They merely make big and better losses; on the basis of the current cash burn the future valuation would be:2018. 9.64p2019. 4.84p2020. 0.04p2021. BustAnyway, my current valuation of 14.44p is much better than my previous 5p, so clearly progress has been made. But can they keep it up? As for 46.25p (the current price) this is 32p worth of pure speculation. Anyway, must go now; the Care Home have just announced that it is dinner time. We must be tucked up in bed by 8-00pm!

Re: Re: Thanks Sasa. Sorry you missed your entry point.I visited the mine in April and was very impressed by the guys involved here.It is nice to invest in a low risk jurisdiction (Salamanca, Spain) for a change! The numbers look very strong (once in production) and with finance now in the bag, Permits, DFS, EIA etc. all done, it is now just down to building the mine. Production probably doesn't commence till early 2019, so I'm sure there will be good entry points along the way.Great Institutional support here as well. Directors hold shares and Uranium demand expected to rise significantly as supply continues to constrict. Visit the web site & studied presentational slides etc.So it ticks all the boxes for me.

Euro Chess 30 Aug 2017

good deal? Thought they should have done better, timing just seems wrong selling a stake at the bottom of the uranium market.Giving away 28% of the company for £50m, doesn't seem such a great deal IMO.
