Re: Shocking update Just look at all these money making Biome product ideas that never came to anything,Bio Degradable Food Seal (Greenseal), Bio Degradable Food Trays, Cig Filters, Chewing gum, Asda Contracts that never came to anything and now Coffee Pods!!!!There are more failed products, but I can't think of any.Compare the above list with Biome successes which are,

When I first bought these shares, years ago, it seemed that with such a good product it would be impossible to ruin this company. But I have been proved wrong time and time again.

Re: Shocking update So it seems they've spent years developing something they can't sell.Same old, same old.Paul Mines - the man who broke the law of averages.I'd always expected that something would land in his lap just by way of the law of averages but no, he cannot close a deal or manage his forward order book.Looks like they've given up on H2 as well, already saying they will miss the full year so orders haven't been delayed - I doubt they were ever there in the first place - just a load of unsaleable plastic.

Re: Shocking update good spot! I'd not picked up the absence of the usual "pleased to announce" bit

Re: Shocking update *by the time the filters are ready

Re: Shocking update Did I read it correctly ?The pod and lid have been in full production since middle of last year but the ring and filter won't be ready until the end of this year ?The bits they made will have degraded by the time the lids are ready. At least this announce didn't start with 'Biome are pleased to announce'

Re: Shocking update And still an RNS finishes with the board stating that, 'The Board is confident, repeat, repeat'.Still the board continue with a prophesy of hope whilst the promises of the bio degradable coffee pods are looking to become another tray lid catastrophe (I could name many more).I wonder how much longer this saga of jam tomorrow (for jam, substitute coffee pods) will continue before all investors see the truth.

Re: Shocking update yes, I was just about to post the same. The funding they got in Q1 masked the cash burn

Re: Shocking update At current spend rate they do not have a viable business as only 5 months money [current spend £200k pm since March update]Paul Mines has taken 50% more in salary for the first 6 months than the total Bioplastics revenue!Beggars belief that he is still sat there milking it without an ounce of humility.

Re: Shocking update The only surprise is they did not slip in a reference to blame it in the uncertainty arising from Brexit.....

Shocking update Will we be sub £1.00 at the open?Mines needs to walk and walk now.

Re: TU disappointment yet again Final customer production run trials in the quarter and revenues of this product are expected to build over the coming months (yawn, remember Asda and those tray lids plus many more).Systems for this contract are due to be delivered before the end of June 2016 (same old. same old remember er, sorry there are too many similar here to sort them all out). The Board remains confident in the Group's outlook for the remainder of the year (of course they are, aren't they always). The saying, 'broken record comes to mind'.

Re: TU disappointment yet again "final customer production run trials" so a big order has been signed then??.......Cash flat but only thanks to receiving that grant money, I wondered why an actual cash balance had not been mentioned in the previous RNS on the full year results "Group's cash position remains robust"

sikovace 25 Apr 2016

TU disappointment yet again Plastics revenues down 60% in Q1 - usual tosh about justifications...and this 'The new temperature-tolerant material underwent final customer production run trials in the quarter and revenues of this product are expected to build over the coming months.'Oh right, final trials then is it? just like all the other 'final trails' that never ever made it to revenue. How much money has Mines wasted on the bioplastics to get to £200k worth of sales? Who is accountable for such a woeful sales performance?

Someone buying small quantities Just got a sell quote to see if there were any actual buyers out there and was quoted 185. Someone has a little confidence it seems
