Re: Any change for 2017 I didn't give this post a new heading as Any change for 2017 fits the bill.I am sure this statement has been made many times ........Encouragingly, as we move into 2017, the division has a good order book which is underpinning a positive start to 2017 (more orders for coffee pods perhaps).   And then there is this one that does not correlate..................The Group's cash position at 31 December 2016 was £1.5m (30 September 2016: £1.2m). This increase in cash is a mixture of trading performance and the timing of deposits within the RF division. How can they explain that part of the reason the companies cash position has increased is a result of it's trading performance when they have just informed us that trading performance is down.If it wasn't so sad for those still suckered in to this share, it would be funny.

Re: Aquasol Hi Axe127,Agree re the cash as Biome are not actually flush with the stuff. As for news suddenly emerging, Biome like Stanelco before them have always been good at informing its investors about potential deals, contracts and the like, but very slow (sometimes slow meaning never) to update the markets when these possibles fade away.

Re: Aquasol Pond,Here's a patent (application).[link] very strange that this suddenly emerges ? Anyways £450k cash not to be sniffed at...Especially if £3.1m in goodwill already written down completely? - settlement is 20% of their market cap...special dividend then.A,

Aquasol Biome (Stanelco as it was then) bought the Aquasol business in May 2004 for £3.1 million.Aquasol was then the world leader in water-soluble packaging innovation, products andprocesses. As grant of full UK patent, can be maintained for up to 20 years from the initial filing presumable as the patents associated with this technology are no longer in force, the technology was not as good as the company promised (anyone notice a trend here), otherwise the patents would have been renewed, or am I missing something. I wonder If Biome have let any other patents lapse, as they have a history of not informing the markets regarding all items of interest.[link]

Strange or is it just me. Whenever I put BIOM in the 'find any discussion board' box and click on the Biome choice, the company is always very slow to appear, whereas any other epics entered give no problem.A bit like the company, I suppose, or is it just me.

Re: Any change for 2017 Pond you are almost spot on.2017 will be the same as 2016 except for less money in the bank and mabe bigger bonuses

pond1 04 Jan 2017

Any change for 2017 Doesn't look like it, Not one share bought or sold in the first two trading days. All quiet on the contract front.SP either same or dropping.Presumably same company board being paid same salaries that match the companies performance (OK having a laugh on that one). All those investors left need is the usual, progress being maintained and the future is looking positive updates and 2017 will be identical to 2016.

Re: With apologies to serious Biome investor... I like Nightmare on AIM Street a lot!Tomorrow Never Comes

pond1 02 Nov 2016

With apologies to serious Biome investors I wonder if there will ever be a TV program or film about a certain company (Biome), if so I wonder what the title would be. Just a few suggestions.'I don't believe it','one flew over the cuckoos nest', 'if pigs could fly','how to loose money without even trying', 'what ever happened too'.'nightmare on AIM street'.'Investing for dummies'No doubt there are many other suggestions out there.Apologies to serious investors in BIOME, I presume there are some!

ink stamps I saw an episode of "how it is made" recently that showed how they make those stamps. It was very interesting (but then I am an accountant!)

Re: Trading update "late stages" always makes me smile....Cash up!!! I assume they must have had another grant

pond1 02 Nov 2016

Re: Trading update I would love to know the word/comment count re Biome trading updates for, promising, later stages of development, subdued turnover a result of, order outlook is strong, reflects the vitality, coffee pods. This company probably has one of those stamps you can buy (shows how old fashioned I am, I think they can do the same with a computer, IE save/print) that has the above words on it.I do not though think this company is a joke as jokes are supposed to be funny and surely by now even newish holders can see this company for what it is.

Trading update Yet more abject failure and whoppersThey really must be laughing up their sleeves at the daft shareholders who fund their huge incomes & lifestyle while they fail to deliver over & over again.

Re: The one show Sitting at my laptop this morning watching the autumn leaves fall when I decided to look in to see how Biome are doing as not checked for a while.Looks like the same old story of nothing doing, so went back to watching the leavers fall, far more interesting.
