Re: New product..... Dated 22/02/2016 on the Biome web site.Coffee cups, lids and pods that use these bioplastics can all be recycled in the established paper recycling stream. They can also be composted along with residual coffee grinds, as Biome Bioplastics materials can degrade to prescribed international standards in composting environments.
Re: New product..... I am almost certain that Biome were touting that they had such a product months if not a couple of years ago, but as is always with Biome nothing has been heard since.Remember years ago they had those bio-degradable food containers and wraps (forgot what they were called its so long ago) and all those companies interested (Asda the biggest one) and again never an update. Will believe it when someone buys it.
Re: New product..... Just google...sky news bio coffee cup.
Re: New product..... when was this? Nothing new that I can see on the company site. This is the product they have been trialing/developing for what feels like decades
New product..... I see on the Sky news app that Biom have developed a 100% bio coffee cup and lid.....it would have been nice if the bod had mentioned this here first. It has it's falts as its only bio if composted, but credit where credit is due. Now, as to wether this new product will increase it's cash pile or just continue to eat away at it, is the big question. Going by it's history, not long till Biom go bust...lol
This time round Is it me but this time round they seem to be taking longer to get down to 1p?I guess that could be argued as an improvement?Having a cynical day.
Re: Groundhog Day Not even the slightest effort to do anything different.Same poor results, same delusional expectation of business to increase.Same greed from the board. Results mentioning the failings [all somebody elses fault as always] yet no mention of Mines or Standen taking any reduction in their income.Pathetic performance.Extraordinary arrogance from a greedy board.
Re: Groundhog Day Same old same old on the bio-plastics front. The cash position it the nearest thing to good news. I am still holding but not with any conviction.
Groundhog Day So what's worth mentioning from these results. Not much as they are almost a repeat of 2015/14/13, solid performance, strong enquiry pipeline, order book is robust, yawn, yawn, yawn.Once I leave a company (sold out a few years ago now) I don't usually post, but I am still very angry how Biome has treated it's investors and the powers that be did nothing about it.Looks like the market agrees as the sp is down 7% as I post, no doubt heading for penny share value yet again.
Re: Contract RNS from 19/06/15 Hi Daz,On Biome web site it states the following, 'Biome Technologies plc is a growth oriented, commercially driven technology group'.As the definition of commercially is 'in a way that is concerned with buying, selling, and making a profit', note the word profit.
Re: Contract RNS from 19/06/15 Maybe Pond, depends on the rarity value, if it's an RNS contract that didn't come to anything or one that did but was non profit making I've got loads of those, if however you have one that actually resulted in, wait for it - a profit ! These ones are rarer than biome director share purchases
Contract RNS from 19/06/15 I have just come across a saved RNS contract released by Biome on 19/06/15.I think it is the most recent (have they had any since that I have missed).Due to it's rarity factor I am thinking of putting it on Ebay, anyone interested before I do.
Re: Any change for 2017 Pond,My guess would be that the RF division are selling into China and are taking cash with order, which is what I normally do an dis quite sensible. Hang on Biome and sensible doesn't sound right to me!
Cash Increase That is good news tbf, and more good news for Q1. I assume(hope) there will not be any significant costs to be netted off against the £0.45m settlement. My prediction/expectation of an imminent cash call was thankfully off the mark.
Re: Any change for 2017 Classic Biome on sales: the second half was 18% up on H2 prior year - woo hoooo!! Great, it nearly half made up for H1 being 45% down......
