attempts to ensure they do not now walk off with the assets which shareholders have paid a considerable sum of capital for. I will be travelling back to the UK mainland shortly and would like to meet with the action committee if someone would prove me with contact details....
Due to the importance attached to the vote, I flew in from Hong Kong to attend the EGM and vote as My holding was in excess of 15million shares. I must say I was most disappointed to see the extremely poor attendance by shareholders given the activities of the BOD in the run up to the meeting. I am therefore delighted to see that there is now a core body of shareholders actively engaged in
if a buyer is found are these shares still worth out
yamsel: great find have already sent in an email asking how to proceed with action
DISGRACEFUL As a 'No' voter and one who has lost a considerable investment here, I do not consider myself to be a member of a lynch mob..far from it. All shareholders have the right to vote the way they think fit and I'm certain the majority of No voters here did just that. Before the vote the BoD had already demonstrated that they were unfit for office and the 'suspicious' fund raising immediately prior to the vote demonstrated that when it suited they were able to find a willing investor at extremely short notice. Strange then that since the No vote they have chosen to ignore the offer from PI's to raise funds preferring instead to place the Company into administration. There is little doubt that this latest move by the BoD will now open Pandoras box and hopefully bring about a full investigation and possible class action. I'd rather risk throwing my money into a class action that give any more of it to the BoD.
Re: Beacon Hill Action Group Too late for any action now.The till's empty and the shop's closed.
Beacon Hill Action Group Anyone aware of any action?
Andy - thank you so much. That article has brightend up my day no end. I can imagine RK & JFJ are crapping themselves at the moment having a guy like you on our side. Thanks again for your support much appreciated.
Re: Happy? Actually, the writing was on the wall there would be a ruinous placing and I bailed at about .65p but kept an eye on this as the asset is good and even when the terms of the fund raising was announced there was a chance of re entry and eventually recouping some of my loss post consolidation settlement. But no, some eejits here decided to throw their toys out of the cot and vote against the only way this company would have stayed afloat. As someone else has said previously, better a little of something and a hope later than a bit of nothing. The poorest judgement here is those who voted no and those who actually think the BoD will be brought to task for this. The mob mentality here is priceless - everyone loved the new BoD when they replaced the old and then they didn't quite meet expectations in the last months (might have had something to do with the conditions afflicting ALL AIM companies trying to raise cash...) the mob turned on them baying for a public lynching.Good luck and good night!
I guess at the end of the month if NOMAD is designated the shares will be removed??
waddid :so when is the final nail in the coffin as in the end
I am sorry to hear the buffetinwaiting. I know so many people have lost more than myself. I bought in at 4p originally and averaged down to 0.80p. Would be nice to think that there would be some investigation from the FCA for example, with the complaints from various people but I won't be holding my breath anytime soon.
wadid:afraid so been in for since the low teens and averaged down on the way with funds from all my other shares and now nothing like 46andup sys we own 80pct of the business how can they just take it off of us thats stealing something we rightly own which last time i looked was a criminal offence
buffetinwaiting I hope you haven't lost everything.
so: do i tell the wife we have lost everything or will we get something out of this...financially
