Hi idg69 bought some JLP last week at 1.43 but they have dropped since . I think they will do well in the next two years and I am still looking at ALK .How are your investments doing at the moment. All the best breezy.
I never believed action group... their real intentions are what is happening now!!!
So whats going on? What are the dead lines for the Administrators? Whats the plan of action? Its been over two weeks since the meeting. Please send any info to my private email. Action group is a Joke
Re: Vote NO to ceasing trading!!! Robbed.... lost the lot with London mining and African minerals they say chines stocks are dangerous wish i had stayed clear of Africa good job didn't get in here.
Re: NO BHR on LSE **
why LSE users not using our site here ... it is an intentional act, just like bad intentions of action group....
Re: NO BHR on LSE This is where you need to be now:[link]
idg69 Morning yes have been watching them and like you I think they should do well in the long term .ALK results out today and nothing spectacular but nothing negative at all. I am tempted to put a grand in as I don't see a lot of downside here . Looking at BG Group to they have dropped in the last three weeks. Never going to put all my eggs in one basket again. Think I am a lot wiser after our bhr disaster. All the best breezy.
Morning Breezy, Are you still watching Jubilee Platinum? They are making some solid progress and could be turning a corner. A good RNS yesterday and some positive sentiment in the trade press. Might be one to put in the bottom drawer for a year or three. They made some bad decisions last year getting involved with Darwin, which they got burnt on, but quickly realised the error of their ways and got out. I've got a couple of grand in here and might be tempted to top up a little more. I'm also stilling watching Alkane, but the energy sector is also out of favour at the moment. Cheers idg69
Morning Breezy, I'm further north in Harrogate so won't be making the trip. My workload is picking up considerably which is needed to replenish the coffers and must focus on projects that offer some financial payback and not on those that won't. Whilst I admire what the action group are trying to achieve and I really wish them all the luck in the world, it's a David and Goliath task. I suspect all the valuable assets will have been ring fenced in legal jargonise and will get sold for a pound to some close friend of the boards. Have a great weekend. idg69
Hi idg69 I presume you are not going to the shareholder meeting. I cant make it due to work and because I live in south Yorkshire. But would be interesting what the action group has uncovered and what action they may take. Don't know if you know they now use the BHGU board. All the best breezy.
Cheers Waddid, I was always a realist when it came to BHR and I knew the risks going into this share. I have moved on now and will rebuild my portfolio and spread my risk across many stocks in differing sectors. I'm confident I'll make up my heavy losses but accept it may take 3 to 5 years of careful investing to do so. Mclhrn - with reference to the trains and the sublease, I suspect this was only covering our leasing costs and wasn't bringing in any profit. RK would have had his back against the wall on negotiating any profit out of that deal I suspect. Good luck to all BHR holders in any new ventures you pursue and I include yourself yoyo in that - no malice my friend, what is done is done - onwards and upwards I say. All the best idg69
yoyo, you are as idg69 has already stated very misguided in your opinion. However, you are entitled to your opinion be it as it is and most probably the type of person that will not be able to swayed so I am not even going to bother attempting to correct some of your comments. Breezy, idg69 along with others have been on this board and involved with BHR for a number of years and their facts are spot on. You have appeared at the party far too late my friend and may as well lick your wounds and move on like everyone else is....
What about the two trains that were/are running anyone know about these are they still going bringing money in ?
re:idg69 I feel the need to tell you this.. We lost it all because of action group... If action groups intention were to fight with BOD, they would have done this while the company was trading... not now!
