Evening Beezy, I'm over on the JLP board as of today. What a cracking start to my new round of investments. If only poor old BHR had bounced off the bottom like JLP is looking like it has. I'm grateful for the gains, but I'm starting from scratch so I have a long way to go. I wish I'd put a couple of grand on Amur last year. All is well here as I hope it is with you. Happy investing and may all your BHR losses be recovered with JLP and ALK. All the best idg69
idg69 Hi hope you and your family are well I have been on holiday for the last two weeks. At the moment I am invested in ALK and JLP and in a small profit at the moment like you are. We can keep in touch on the ALK and JLP boards.JLP looks pretty good and I think we could do really well over the next two years. All the best breezy.
FROM LSE : I received a letter from Baker tilly today Dear Sirs Beacon Hill Resources PLC - In Administration Notice of Intention to apply to end the administration and wind-up the Company Pursuant to Rules 2.1 l4(3)(a) of the Insolvency Rules 1986 (the ‘‘IR''), Graham Bushby and I, in our capacity as joint administrators (the "Administrators") of the Company, hereby notify you, as shareholder of the Company of our intention to make an application to court pursuant to paragraph 79(2)(a) of Schedule I31 to the Insolvency Act 1986 (the "Act") for an Order that our appointment shall cease to have effect and the administration of the Company shall come to an end as at the date specified in the Order (the "Application''). We further notify you of our intention to issue a winding-up petition under section 124 of the Act on behalf of the Company in conjunction with the Application. We are taking the above steps on the basis that we are no longer satisfied that the purpose of the zulrninistration can be nelricved in relation to the Company. This is on the grounds that following the resigtnlion of‘ management of the Company‘: asset owning subsidiaries. with whom the Administrators were working in an attempt to realise these assets, it is now unlikely these assets will be realised for suflicient value to enable there to be any return of funds to the Company. Therefore, the Company has insufiicient funds to allow for full repayment to secured creditors or any payments to unsecured creditors of the Company. A final progress report will be issued to creditors once an order has made which will provide further detail on the work carried out by the Administrators and the efforts made to realise value from the Cornpany’s asset owning subsidiaries more information regarding this re-financing then please contact Andrew Sim at asiIn@.::mc1.co. The application to Court will note he made until lhc rc-financing options being investigated by the Shurelmldcr Action Group have been Fully explored, however any rc-financing is unlikely tu prevent an application from being made. If you have any queries please contact Benjamin Dymanl of my offloc. Yours faithfully for and on behalf of Beacon Hill Resources PLC Phillip Sykes Baker Tilly Restructuring and Recovery LL!’ Joint Administrator
Breezy, if you're out there, what live streams are you commenting on at the moment? I'm in with JLP and UBI at the moment and glad to say in profit on both. I'm looking to buy into Alkane and also Premier Oil this month starting with a grand on each. Let me know where you're posting and we can keep in touch. All the best and hope life is treating you well. Cheers, idg69
I took that from bhr investors site how true is this
Beacon Hill Resources PLC and BHR Mining Limited entered into Administration on 12 January 2015 with Phillip Sykes and Graham Bushby of Baker Tilly Restructuring and Recovery LLP appointed as Joint Administrators of both companies. Spoke to a representative of Baker Tilly on Tuesday of this week in order to get an update on the above. I was informed that tomorrow 22 nd May is the final date for offers to the Administrators for the assets of BHR and more information will be known next week
Hello, is anyone still here? Last post on here seems to be a month ago now, we've not had any up date for god knows how long. Are things still progressing? Or have we given up on this one? Or are people taking matters into their own hands and not informing others, you know the ones who gave support to get us to this situation. Would be nice to hear something
from bhr investors
will they ever get in touch with us any ideas?
Re: NO BHR on LSE will this be the next bellzone...if so cant wait to get out gla
..well Phil...... ....did anything ever happen, I can find little information on Google and all I know is that I lost my 1.5 million shares.Did the action group ever form or did in-fighting stop the process....I would be delighted to know....cheers.
2 post here about action group... Action group may be even the BOD and got what they wanted by convincing people to vote NO... something stinks, no messages or anything since the admin
Re: action group or own goal...... Hahahahahahahahahaha!Excellent. So if the action group do manage to exact justice, you won't be wanting any money back from your lost investment then?? Your idea would have resulted in this same situation, but a few months down the line.If you're not part of the solution, then you're part of the problem!
action group or own goal...... ....what happened to the Action Group, probably the worst possible move in defeating the BOD. At least with the consolidation there would have been something left......now zilch. At African Minerals we put together an Action Group, funded it and have now had first meeting with the legal team............at BHR....anything ??? I guess not.
Good afternoon Breezy, Hope you had a good Easter Bank holiday and the sun was shining in your part of the world. I've got 2 grands worth of JLP at 1.5p and 2 grands worth of Ubisense at 98p. They are both long term plays so I'm not watching daily fluctuations. I'm also watching Alkane and Premier Oil. I'm going to put a couple of grand in each over the next month or so. I'm trying to stick to the principle of no more than 2-3k in any one stock across a portfolio of up to 15 stocks over the next 2-3 years. I will then shuffle funds around to suit. I'm not going all out on one stock ever again, I can't afford to. All the best matey, idg69
